Our third and last pure narrative exercise is what pain does your company solve. And what this means is that all products, services, you know, movements, any kind of thing, all organizations exist to solve some problem, and even a department in a company or a project or a program. So what you want to understand and what you want to capture in this exercise is the exact pain your company solves. Now, if you solve more than one pain, or one or more problems, pick the biggest one. You do not want to muddle this, you don't want to jam as much stuff as you can in there. Because remember, this narrative is the tip of your communication spear.
What it is, is it allows other people to ask you questions and you want them to really understand quickly what you're doing so that they can engage more More. So like before, take out the word sheet or the piece of paper or whatever. Write the one to two sentences like we did before. Again, pick a word to describe it. And then what we're going to do next, which is in the next section, we're going to put all of this together, and we're going to build your narrative. So stay tuned for that.
