In this video, I would like to talk about the flow of the Evergreen promotion. In the previous video, you've learned what the Evergreen campaign is, and you know the requirements. But before showing you step by step how to set it up. I've decided to draw the floor from beginning to an end, so you have a better understanding of what we're doing. Alright, let's get started. First of all, you have traffic sources.

You might be driving web traffic from Facebook, Google, Twitter, and a million other places. The traffic lands on the lead generation page. That page is asking for name and email or just an email, it doesn't matter. Generally, we offer an ethical bribe here, valuable content that people want in request. The example from the previous video was about an E book that teaches you how to train your dog dog training. Okay, so far so good.

People request the E book In two things happen. First, they're being redirected to the download page where they can download and consume the ebook. And second, they are being subscribed to our email list. But we have an email automation of several emails that will be sent out to all the people who subscribed to that list. Email number one will be sent out immediately thanking the subscriber and giving some info and what to expect. Okay, the next thing we do is this, we trigger the 3d promotion, not immediately whenever we want, it might be after 12 hours, it might be after one day, three days, it doesn't matter.

This happens in Active Campaign. I set up what's called a web hook. Basically, that's the promo page URL that they generate with the lockdown feature. I set up the web hook using this URL. And it's I promise you it's very, very simple and I'm going to show you How to do it. Next, the campaign is running.

And I sent emails. Some of those emails are valid based emails, meaning they do not promote anything, just provide value. Some of them are soft sell emails, or maybe in the end, you have some hard sell emails. That's up to you. The point is, in the promotional emails, you insert the sales page URL or the promo URL that you generated, we do lockdown feature. This is how it looks like.

I have it here on my screen. We have a placeholder for an email. And when the user clicks when the subscriber clicks his email will be sent to Dr. ultimatum is a parameter. This is how the system knows the promotion has started for that person or how much time is left. If people buy, they will go to the confirmation page and we will set up a conversion event that will stop the campaign for them. You can also move the You plan to another email list clients, for example.

And the first automation rule you set up might be unsubscribe from the first list. In this way, you won't be sending more promotional emails to the person who has already bought. This is the floor I wanted to present. Also, this is not the only way to do it. There are way too many marketing funnels. But this is the foundation of an evergreen campaign.

Another scenario would be, you don't you don't have a lead generation page, for example. But you just have a form on your blog, or widget, no problem that will work for maybe you don't want to center the people to a download page. But instead, you want to do a one time offer and maybe deliver the ethical bribe the thing they have requested via email, that's fine. It will work. Or maybe you want your campaign to be five or seven days because you sell high end items. service or product, and you need more time more emails to nurture your subscribers before you start promoting your offer.

That's fine as well. In other words, you can apply the Evergreen campaign in keep what works in your business in your market. Isn't that awesome? All right. I hope this was useful. It's time to set up the Evergreen campaign.
