So now we're going to add details little patterns on a lot of this illustration, this shows my number one brush, I'm going to go wet it and get it to a nice sharp point. And I'm going to start at the top here and I'm going to start with the color that we use our deepest red. So I'm gonna take a little more crimson Lake on the point of my brush, and work that into the color that exists on the palette. This will brighten the color just a little bit. And then I'm going to roll my brush around to make a sharp point. And with that sharp point, I'm going to put another layer of the areas where we already use this deep color.
And starting at the top, I'm going to echo the shape right off this hat here and I'm just going to make little stripes. I'll go back in and reset my brushes needed. And they'll come to the next section that we did with that deep color and I'll make more stripes. Now rinse my brush. And we'll start it back at the hat here with this pink of color. And I'll just continue to make stripes all the way around.
And again on this part because it's more curvy, I'll echo the shape that we used. And if there's any area that dried quickly or very lightly, I'll leave it there. I'll come back in. Going back to this deep red, taking a little more of the Crimson lake to it. Get a nice sharp point in my brush. And I'm just going to make some hearts and basically their little V's and I'm going to put them on as if they're polka dots.
So we're going to create just a little pattern over the body here. Come back in Little bit more on my brush. And I'm just eyeballing it. I'm not worrying about getting it perfect. And I'm gonna do the same here, smaller ones on the arms and I'll let this layer dry
