So now the first layer is trying to take my number one brush and some of the soft pink. Get it get a nice brush full. And then I'm going to go and create stripes very carefully and very slowly in between these stripes that we already put down, and I'm going to put two pink stripes, the green and then one pink. And then over here, I'm going to be very careful and put down one pink stripe. And these are very thin stripes that come up here. I'm going to put three thin stripes just like that.
Then I'm going to come up to the top of the hat here, and I'm going to take that same dusty pink, I'm going to divide that fold of a hat into two. So I have one fold there, and another fold here. And then I'm going to come up here and create a larger Second, and a third and I'm following the arc of the nose. I'm going to take my pink and I'm going to come in here and color all the way inside this first layer. When I have most of it nicely pigmented, I'll get my brush and water and blend that whole layer with water again, just to make it even toned. Then I'll skip one and do the same thing over here.
Filling it in with pigment. Then rinsing my brush and going in with water to move that pigment around to make a nice even layer. And then once again, I'll skip one Go over here, leaving a slight dry edge and just a little space right here on the shadow of that last stripe and we'll let this layer completely dry.
