So now I want to come in and create stripes in between those pink stripes. So I'm going to take a brush full of this turquoise and put it in a well, with one brush full of water, you can add a second brush full of turquoise if I want the color a little more vibrant. And then with a very sharp point, I'm going to go in there and create a stripe. And I want to leave a little space in between the pink and this new stripe that we're coming down. So a little bit of the sand color peeks through. So I put it down, just like that.
Then I'm going to come over here, take more of my brush, flip this around. And I'll do the same thing over here. And because this is where the hat starts to fold, the stripe is going to be more of a triangle shape. So the first layer of the hat the first angle, we're making matches Mostly the parallel line to the pink stripe, and then it goes around here because there's a little bit of area in between. I'll start over here and come back again leaving a little space in between. So now there are two stripes with a little bit of this sand color peeking through.
And then lastly, I'll come over here and fill in the base of this hat, the tip of it with this turquoise and while this is drying, cleaner, clean off my brush, and I'll come in here with a little water on my brush and a little of this peach color and I'm gonna add some pigment to that nose. Since I put it down on dry paper, it just stayed where I deposited it. And then I'll go in with a wet brush a damp brush and blend out the top edge. I also want to go with a damp brush right around the edge, almost up against it, just a hair in between the edge of the paper and my wet brush. And I just want to damp in the edge here and underneath the nose and the hat. And I'm going to come in here with civilian blue and a brush full of water because I want it to be very subtle.
We'll come back in with a second brush full of water, mix my color, and then just deposit a little bit right on the edge. Gives just a little bit of a shadow. And then I can go in with a wet brush and blend down any edges if I think they're too straight. Then I can go back in and deposit any color again and we'll look displayer completely dry.
