Imagine yourself. Welcome. This program was born out of my frustration for my seven year journey with two bouts of cancer and a near death experience. And I had to be rushed to or at 1143 at night. Because I kept asking the experts at bedside. What do you got to help me cope?
I mean, really, I got cancer, it's spread, it's spread again. It's back. I'm all these surgeries and treatments, playing with my mind. What skill based programming do you have that can help me cope? Help me understand this process? And they always said, Well, we don't have anything, Michael.
So the seeds of this program started in the 1980s. When I was fighting the fight, dealing with cancer. Imagine yourself was born then. Then a little while later, my second daughter and she's good now had a brain tumor. Then it became very real to me that we didn't have any programming to help children, families or students in schools deal with a crisis that was Before the fact or during the fact, everything I could come across came after later. So, imagine yourself was born to help people deal with adversity and loss and grief and frustration and anger and resentment and all the things happen when life turns upside down, when we have a tragedy in our lives, and I talk about big stuff, because I don't want to trigger anyone by naming all the things that we can go through.
So learning to manage ourselves and understand our journey is much easier if we learn about it in advance, instead of waiting till after the fact. Yes, the program works for those that have been through things. But it's even better if they learn about it before they need it. So welcome to imagine yourself and I look forward to sharing with you the process, the common language, and the key skills that make the difference. So imagine yourself with more resiliency for life. I'm Michel Ballard.
And we'll see you in the program.
