Welcome to section five of the course the project revolution. You seen how we started thinking strategically very high level, then how about making decisions and becoming more focused? And then how to transform an organization to be more agile? Well, now I'm going to cover our becoming more project driven how the world is, is becoming more driven by projects. And you saw that with the first one of the first statistics or research from Accenture. The project revolution is it's it's happening and I have a couple of facts or research that I want to share.
The first one that you see online on the screen is his research based on Google Analytics. So basically, Google has this searched kind of tool called n gram where they put all the documents and books they could find in the digitalized that so you can search on terms to see which of the turns are, are more useful as years versus others. So I wanted to see and after feeling on what are the key words that we normally use in business in management, and how do they relate to each other. So to see which one are more important, more relevant, what you see on the list below, there's a terms, journal strategy, innovation, projects, and so on. But what you would think agile we hear about a lot what you see on the chart is actually agile compared to other areas is not so relevant. It just started a few years ago.
The same goes for innovation. You can see marketing, you can see finance all very important. Then later on, you can see strategy strategies, the kind of the secret word in business. What you can see the trend here is that sec strategy was not very important. 15 years ago, 50 years ago, there were other terms, but what happened, we tried to Use that it was used heavily during the Second World War. And then the business schools said, Now every business, every organization should have strategy.
And that's how it suddenly became one of the most popular words. And every business course teaches and strategies, probably one of the most important courses. But what you see on the chart is the word projects and projects is just going way above strategy. So that proves that projects is, is everybody's using the word projects, we use that every day, I'm certain that you use project as well. I'm working on that project or my friend or my colleague, or we're working on this project. So just the chart is there to show you that actually, yes, we are in a project or even work.
And the second chart I wanted to share with you and this comes from Silicon Valley's the amount of change that we're expecting in in Their world, they say that the next 10 years will see more change than in the past 250. And change means projects. And if the world is going to accelerate, and we'll see more changes, that means more projects and here's just a couple of snapshots or evidence on why we're becoming more project driven.
