All right, welcome back. And in this lesson, we're actually focused on putting it all together. So we are going to take what we've discovered and we're going to start putting together our ad copy. So here again is my rough sheet of notes that I took based on all the research exercises that we've done together. So when I'm going to do this is how I do it, you can do it any way you choose. But what I do is I just want to make sure I don't miss anything important.
So I start at the top and I just go through and I highlight all of the wording types of warning things I want to get into my copy before I put it all together. So let's have a look here people interested in the Chinese culture Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day. So I might see Valentine's Day is coming up in my might still have enough time to order. People might have enough time to order the book by then, in Chinese New Year, so you want to be careful when you're doing Facebook God, that if you're actually gonna be doing delivery for to somebody that if you're advertising for example trying to do your, you want to make sure that if they order the product, they'll actually receive it and time to give it as a gift for Chinese New Year. So, um, and in my case, like, some of the products I'm personally selling are using alibaba express and alibaba express for anybody else who's using that as a system probably knows that you should give your products you know, up to four to five weeks to be safe.
So I would not if I was doing an up my own product, I would not list a thought to get it as a gift for Chinese New Year because they definitely would not get in on time. And the last thing you want is to create a whole bunch of unhappy customers right? So But for this side, there might still be mailing time because the client is shipping it out personally, there might be enough time to get it up for time to new year and we will check on the mailing dates to confirm that before I put it in the ad copy. I don't want to overwhelm people with too many visuals but what I want to mention here is when you start thinking about visuals is as you can see here, I've got okay so I've got three visuals I know I want already I probably want to add a few more.
But when you're doing a Facebook ad, I mean simplicity is always a good way to go as well. But I want to show people visual, you know will explain way more than words can people will look at something and they will start drooling and this is what I want. I want to evoke those other types of So how can I get a really good visual image, or just something that's going to display as much as possible in an easy to understand manner that's not too bulky or overwhelming. So this is the sorts of ideas I'm coming up with. Maybe I can do an image with four you know, four pictures of food of food, right? I can have a slideshow.
If I have enough images. Facebook now will actually let me create a video slideshow very, very easily. If I have I believe it's six images or more. So let's look at creating a slideshow image. And let me see if I can also use a video. So what we want to do if you have these options already available to you.
Again, we're just going to guess that a video will probably do the best but that's not always the case. I've run test ads I've seen video do worse than the picture image. So it depends on if people are going to take the time to watch the video is going to depend on what they're going to do with the video. Maybe they watch the video and they see something in it, they don't like because you put too much information in it. So you got to be really careful. And you want to have your video look professional as well because images everything.
So what I would do in a case like this is, is I'm maybe do all of them and split test all of them at the same time. Or maybe I'll just do a picture and a video or the picture in the slideshow video. Actually, besides slideshow, I'm going to put slideshow video because we can easily do that in Facebook and I'll show you when we get there, how we can put that together. So this kind of gives me ideas on the images. And I'll have to go look through the pictures I have and select the specific images I want. So this is what my next step is going to be I won't show you but I'm gonna show you how it all comes together.
So The next step I'm going to do is I'm going to take all my yellow highlights. And I'm going to cut and paste them into a blank document. And then what I'm going to do is start forming sentences. And I'm going to start putting what I think the most important things are near the top. So what I think right now, the most important types of ideas I want to get out is that it's on sale to appeal to people that are looking for sale, which they often do. Facebook is a really great platform for people that are looking for sales and bargains.
And those are the most likely types of things people share as well. based on what's trending on Facebook, I know that people love sharing recipes, because not just with demson pet with anything, people share recipes all the time. So near the top of my coffee is going to go that it's you know, lived in some recipes. I think it's going to be exactly the opening statement that I'm going to start with. Then I'm going to write down something about that as a cookbook. And then I can write down all that other stuff, that it's simple.
That is economy cooking and stuff you can make with kids, and nutrition. And you know, it's nutritious and delicious. And those sorts of warning and just kind of then put examples of the types of recipes they can do. And repeat again, that anyone can do it, and then put down something about it being a great gift idea on where they can get it. So you can see once you know what you want to say, I mean, without what I just said, will probably be perfect copy, I just need to make it sound more grammatically correct, of course. But basically, essentially what I just said is all I really need to say it kind of covers almost everything that I've highlighted.
So that is perfect. And I know that that copy is talking directly to the people that based on the things that have been trending on Google based on the things that are trending keyword wise So again, trending on Google, based on the things that are trending on Facebook. And based on if you took anything from buzzsumo, for example, you know, the trending content, if you could tie into anything that's completely highly trending, that's current, that's going to give you even more power. So these this is basically why you do the research, instead of just guessing right from the start what you should say. So as you see if you do your research properly, based on just off the top of my head, what I just told you, I want to put down as my copy, which is pretty much all it's going to be it took me what like I talk fast, so maybe a couple, like not even a minute to come up with it right?
I still need to put it together, but it's gonna take me maybe another minute or two and that's it. Because I basically already know what I want to say. So you can see you spend the majority time on your research and it's like any type of marketing you do you spend the majority time in your research and ever Everything else becomes a very clear roadmap of exactly what you need to do. And once you have a roadmap in anything, everything else falls into place. And, again, they're all they're radically I pathetically, whatever. All of that research definitely should pay off for you because you are.
You've got the research that shows exactly what people want and what you're doing is delivering it to them. And that's what great sales, that's what all great sales is made of. You find out what they want, and you're just giving it to them. Okay, so very, very important lesson to learn on for how to build your Facebook ad, but essentially the very important lesson to learn for how to do any type of marketing or sales. So I hope that's super, super helpful for you. And you can extrapolate that into other types of things you do outside of building a Facebook But what I'm going to do is just pause the video for a few minutes, throw my copy together based on everything I said.
And I'm going to come back and show you what I've come up with. Okay, and as promised, here is the final copy, and it is quite a bit long. So what I intend to do is create an ad with the longer copy and then split test it against an ad with shorter copy. So you'll notice that I highlighted some areas that I think we'll be used for a shorter version of this, and then we'll see what the audience responds better to and what I can get better click through rates for and what I can get more people to ultimately purchase from. So in the next video, we'll learn how to create a visual to go along with our copy.
