Hello everyone. In this session we'll see how we can extract Gerber files from the design with Eagle PCB designing software. Here I'm using the latest software or the latest version of Eagle which is 9.1 point three. And here is my sample PCB design. We all know that eagle is one of the most popular software for DIY makers and the companies altogether. So let's see, how do we extract the Gerber files and how we can send it to the manufacturer.
So once you have done completing your designing with Eagle, all you have to do is go to the File menu and here, click on the campuses. Once you click on the cam processor, a dialog box will open where you can select what type of output you need. So in the Gerber section, here, you can see Select the output type most of the manufacturer support along with us support rs 274 x. So select rs 274 x, then you can select the variations of whatever the layers that are present here. This is the drill data. Here you can select to output exported as a zip file or individual files will be output.
Remember, this output will be generated in the exact same folder where your PCB is kept. So this design files Let me see those are here in this folder after two three to break out. So there is this Brd and sh file. After I click the process job, my Gerber data will be generated in the same folder. It asks me for a location, I'm choosing the same folder and I click on C. So as we can see the Gerber files Apart from that, if you want to save this job, then you can save each otherwise just close this window. By giving this card as a message.
You can say this is the zip file, which is needed to be sent to the manufacturer. for manufacturing your PCBs just send this file as an attachment to the email enter your preferred manufacturer. They'll understand how to make use of this data and quote you for the PCBs. Thanks for watching this video.
