These are exciting times for lmd. As there is plethora of learning technology platforms and formats that address the entire spectrum of continuous learning, let's review some key learning tech strategies that empower the 70 2010 learning model to deliver successfully in a digital context. The most effective support strategy for on the job learning and skill development is tech enabled performance support, which includes embedded or in app instructional guides, videos, chat boards, augmented reality, interactive support, etc. Performance support tools provide critical knowledge at the point of need and use to enable successful task execution. This leads to on the job learning and skill development. Performance support can be utilized in two ways.

Either As a primary strategy to support performance, or as a post training strategy to improve performance. The latest system that has taken the corporate l&d world by storm is the learning experience platform, or the XP.
