Sharpies if you're not comfortable doing much writing on it. I just want to take my waterproof marker and I want to go over the infuse in the title here. So I just carefully write my text and I'll let this dry and then I'll raise any pencil marks. I also like to go over here onto the labels and I'll write tequila up here. And I like to write jalapeno down here. It's kind of repetitive but I like the way that looks.
I like to use all caps. It's not distracting from the image and it's readable, legible. Same thing here for the jalapeno So you can stop right there you have a recipe, I like to do a few more steps. So from here, I'm going to switch to pencil because I'll make a lot of mistakes and I can erase it with a pencil. So the first thing I'm going to do is I want to create just a very simple text for each part of my recipe here. So the first step is going to be to chop the jalapenos.
So with it, I'll make a number one. And then I just write chop. Again, I just do all caps. It's easy if you have handwriting that you like or if you prefer script or if you want to spend some time and really make beautiful writing feel free I think that will just only add to make it more beautiful. So the next step is to add it to the jar. I like to add little arrows you don't have to you can just put in your number and right But I'm going to just make a little arrow here.
I just think it directs the eye in a way we want it to go. from Phil, we're going to let it sit for two hours or rest. So I think I'm going to put weight here. So I'm going to write down. Yeah, put down a three here and wait. And because Wait, and I'm trying to use just single words, I'll write two hours very in very small writing.
And then for the last one, it's strain, as well make my arrow here and I'll write strain. So when I'm fairly satisfied here, I can see that my writing is a little goes down a little, it's not perfectly straight. I'll try and repair that with my pen. If I'm very particular about it, I'll go in and erase it and rewrite it. But I think it's okay for me to manage that. So here I'll just write do my one and go over the writing the text that I've already put down.
I have all my arrows, and I try and keep my arrows consistent so that by that I mean, in this case, they all have a little arc to them. If I was to do them all straight, I try and make all of them straight. If my Line didn't connect to my arrow, I would try and not connected on all of them. And if I wanted to make a triangle here and fill that in, once again, I would do that with all of them. So now I'll just go back in, erase any pencil marks that might remain for my text. And then I'll have to sit back and decide.
If I want to add a background. thing I'm going to add a very subtle background and we'll do that in the next chapter.
