From my background, I like to take two colors and kind of make a very subtle background but a very subtle blending as well. So I think we'll take colors from my actual image here. I'll do a little bit of the purple and a little of the blue. So I'm going to make a lot of pigment on my palette here. Take a little surly and blue and a brush full of water. Again, very subtle.
And I'll take some of this purple and a little civilian blue. rinse my brush. I'm gonna start by wedding around the images that I have here. And I'm going to try and be very generous with the spacing around the images. So right now I'm just adding water to my paper. And I'm worrying about the top of my illustration and down the sides.
I'm not worrying about the center just yet. Good to take some of this purple and add it right here. And then I think I'm going to go with more purple on this side and blue on the right hand side. So while I have this purple on my brush, I'll go right down my illustration. dipping my brush in water, keeping this pigment moving. Come right to the edge here.
Pick up my color, and continue. Can I just want nice subtle images here. Nice subtle blending Pick up that blue, the positive here and go down the length of the illustration. Blend it with a purple of the base. So we've now connected it. And now just very lightly go around my image.
I'm avoiding all the illustrations and avoiding the text as well. Pick up some of this purple make a nice connection Again, I'll pick up a little more blue. Just deposit in the areas, I think require it. But I'm gonna switch to my number four brush here. And I want to just incorporate some of these colors that we use, particularly the greens. So I'll make a little puddle here of this permanent green.
And I'm just going to make a little spatter. It's okay if I get my images, although I'm trying to avoid them, and they'll take a little of this deep green, mix it in, do a little spatter there as well. We'll let this dry and then we'll come back And review some variations we could make on our images.
