So with watch time, you want people to get to the very end of the video, it's very important with YouTube. So sometimes what people will do is they'll tease a little something in the beginning of the video or in the thumbnail and you save it for the very end of the video because you want them to keep watching all the way to the so I highly suggest coming whatever your specific channel is, you need to come up with some kind of format that keeps them coming to the end, whether it's a story or telling and they have to keep watching to get to the end conclusion, or there's some tease you did that keeps them to the end, whatever it is, you know, maybe there's something funny you do at the end of every one of your videos that they just want to get all the way to the end to see what that Funny thing is going to be you're going to do maybe there's a five second joke you do with every one of your videos, maybe you know I saw one chat with a guy he kind of outlined at the beginning today we're going to go Ba ba ba ba ba ba ba ba ba you kind of like everything the video is gonna be so you know, it kind of kept them they knew what they're in for and kept on watching all right at the end.
That that is your mission is to get people watching to the end of the video. The more watch time the video gets, the more the video gets promoted. The way that works on YouTube is the video with the most watched I know we've covered this earlier. Again, the video the most watched time is the one that it is that YouTube is going to promote. And it doesn't matter how big the channel is, you know, your channel could be very small and your video is going to get promoted ahead of a channel with you know, 5 million subscribers if your video has more collective watch time, so just think about that. Try to make the video longer if you can, while keeping it entertaining, and get them to watch to the very end.
It's very important
