My name is Laura dam cough I am a holistic nurse practitioner. I am the founder of path to health and healing calm and the co founder of menopause sisters calm. I have helped thousands in my practice discovered their own path to better health and healing.

One of the best ways to improve your health is by addressing both the mind and the body. In this program, I will be addressing both. I want to thank you for being here. You detox, you can boost your overall health, increase your energy levels, reduce your risk of chronic disease and much more.

However, many modern detox programs focus exclusively on detoxing the body and neglect the mind. All right, then, let's take a look at what you will be doing during each week of the detox your body in mind in 30 days program. Now that you have all of your guides in hand, let's take a look at what is ahead for you over the next four weeks. Are you ready to transform your body and mind If so then use this picture.

Before giving you a peek at what you will be learning each week, I want to let you know that the first seven videos are going to provide you with important foundational information before we dive into the entire program. This is an order for you to be successful at something you first need to know what it is and why it is important and how it will benefit you. So before starting the program, I will be sharing the following with you video one won't be the course overview. That's what you're in right now.

Video two will go over the program benefits. Video three will go over the course handouts. Video four is why detoxing is important. Video five, we'll go over the signs your liver may be toxic. This is an epidemic issue and an important subject we should address here. Video six is how to break bad habits.

And video seven, we'll go over the six keys to Breaking Bad habits. So those are all really important. Then once we've gone through those we'll dive into each week. So I bet you want to know what you're going to learn each week. So in week one, the first week of the program obviously and every week of this program is about making right and wrong decisions for your health. So This week of the detox your body and mind plan involves Why Detox before beginning a detox program and it's important to first understand why you need to detox in the first place.

How to break bad habits. change your lifestyle habits can be very challenging. learning the basics on how to break those bad habits and replace them with healthier ones is very important. body detox, eliminating alcohol and processed foods from your diet. The mind detox of week one involves avoiding the news reducing your exposure to light at night and learning to say no. This first week removes many harmful toxins from your lifestyle.

It also removes a lot of negativity and stress from your mind. And this can enhance your sleep quality. Okay, it's Let's take a look at what you're going to learn in week two, which will be days eight to 14 of this 30 day program. So in the second week this will involve the body to detox part will involve eliminating caffeine and dairy from your diet. The mind detox portion will involve avoiding social media removing nighttime noise, and spending time alone in nature. This second week eliminates toxins that affect your digestion, energy levels and sleep quality.

It will also calm your mind and help you feel more peaceful. Week Three or days 15 to 21. The body detox portion you're going to be adding smoothies to your diet while also eliminating grains and starch. The mind detox portion involves limiting your internet activity going to bed at a fixed bed time and trying aroma therapy. This third week boosts your digestive system by providing it with lots of essential nutrients while also eliminating carbohydrates that can have a negative impact on your blood glucose or sugar levels. It will enhance the sense of calm and peace that you developed in the previous week and further improve your sleep quality.

Okay, so in the final week of the program, your the body detox portion will involve adding juices to your diet, while also eliminating meat and the mind portion of your detox will involve stopping watching television, developing a nightly bedtime ritual and trying meditation. This fourth week further boosts your digestive system by adding nutrient rich juices and Removing difficult to digest meats. It also removes a major source of mental distraction from your life, the TV and helps you achieve a deep, calm, relaxing full relaxation through meditation. The final two days of the program are days 29 to 30. This portion of the program we're going to do a couple more great things for your body in mind you're going to be drinking just juice for two full days and you're going to be completely disconnecting from technology and focusing fully on relaxation. This is the most intensive part of the program but also the most rewarding.
