So this first practice harmonizing heaven and earth is designed to open the practice. So the first energy that gets into your body is the breath, the breath is very important. So that's why the first practice is harmonizing heaven and earth, which means this practice, work on the team organs, the lung and the kidney. And the lung, is what you get the breath in. And this, this movement is designed to open the breath to lengthen the breath and to slow the rhythm of the breathing. So you can breathe a little deeper and fuller.
When you are in the fourth fourth position. You come up from the fourth fourth position, you start inhaling, and the intention is to inhale into the lower back in the beginning to really quantify the kidney. We say that the breath Yeah. The the the breath goes into the lungs and the kidney grasp the chief from the lungs. So if the kidney doesn't grasp the chief from the lungs, yet the other organs would not get the CI. So it's really important to not only open the breath, but open also the tonifying, open also the kidney energy, so it can absorb the energy from the breath.
So harmonizing of heaven and earth does that. And also it connects us to the two elements, the yin and the yang, the Yin being the earth and the Yang being the heavens. And these are the two polarities that are inside of us. So it kind of brings the body into a state of harmony and balance, where from the earth we getting power, healing, stability, self confidence, kind of a sense of groundedness in who we are. And from the heavens we get more inspiration, freedom, creativity. So harmonizing these two energies inside of you is also part The first practice and joy
