In this video I want to show you two quick back stretches that you can do, which is good after a tough day that you've had or if you're feeling some tightness in your back. It's also good to do on a routine basis. Just so you can release some of your back muscles as you can see from your hands and knees position. After performing your 90 degree angles, just sit back on your heels, keeping your hands forward. Again in the 90 degree position, take some deep breaths and exhale as you sit back on your feet, leaving your hands forward. You can do this a few times each time going a little bit further back, stretching your spine out really pulling that spot chord from head to tail.
The next exercise that you can do, which is also something really good to stretch your back out and it's a great positional therapy exercise. lay flat on the floor. You can start with your hands by your size and then bring them up above your head and pull yourself. You can also have someone else help you with this but pull yourself your toes pushing into one direction. Your hands pulling in the other direction you want to really pull yourself in this position. lay there for about 10 seconds or even 15 seconds as you take some deep breaths and feel your spinal cord stretching out right from your tailbone to your neck.
