You're not gonna get comfortable standing on top of the snowboard as it's glading on the snow. So super useful to go on and off the chairlift. This is exactly how you'd be doing it when you make your way up the mountain. So what you want to do is take that free food and give yourself a couple pushes. And then what you're going to do is stick that free food next to the back painting. And you're going to adopt your nice neutral snowboarder stance, looking in the direction of travel, making sure your shoulders stay in line with the board.
And these lower joints stay nice and relaxed with equal band and each one and equal weight on both feet. Whether you're comfortable standing on top of the board file is glading. Let's try and play with that position a little bit. So as the board's glading, what we're going to try and do is get small as a mouse and then tall as a host. So as the board's gonna emerge, it's gonna go up and down and mold will tame so we get comfortable moving on top of that boom. And we find this nice center position with equal weight on both feet, equal band in those key lower joints, hips, knees and ankles and the shoulders in line with the board.
Another fun little movement, we can try to really feel the center position and the board is going towards the nose and the tail as the board is gliding. So start off in your nice center position, have the word gliding on the snow, reach down towards the nose is if you're picking up something off there, move back through your st position, and then all the way towards the tail is if you're picking up something from there, boom, and back to that nice, solid strong position with equal weight on both feet, shoulders in line with the board. Another way you can get used to the sensation of sliding on the board is to find yourself a small little slope with a flat spot at the bottom of it. So where are you going to do is hit the top of that slope, get comfortable and ready to slide down.
And when you're ready, take the free fruit step next to the back painting. And again adopt that nice Neutral Snowbird stance, Glade down the slope and like the flat spot at the bottom, bringing a nice gradual stop.
