How to advertise a Facebook page post? Hey there everyone. The ads manager has really cool powerful features and an awesome dashboard. But did you know that you can promote your content outside of it? Yes, you can advertise your page posts right for your Facebook pages. And we're about to show you how to do it the easy way step by step, selecting a page polls to promote.
Start by going to the Facebook page that you will use to serve your ads and locate a post that you'd like to promote. You can basically promote any type of post, but there are some good practices to apply to generate the most engagement possible out of your budget. First, you have to add relevant copy in your text. Copy has to include a hook such Here's the question, your target keywords and a call to action. Right below your copy you have to include your links. Lastly, you have to include media on your posts, images and videos work well.
Though video tends to generate more reactions than images promoting a post. Promoting a page post directly from your Facebook page is easy, and you'll only have to click on the boost Post button to get started. Now you have to start setting up your promoted post. To the left you have the setup panel and to the right, a preview window. Start by selecting your objective. Your objective is what you want to achieve by promoting your post.
In this example, we are going to select website visitors as our objective. Once you select your objective, you have to set up your audience. You can edit people you choose through targeting existing audiences and saved audiences Or you can create new audience. Now you have to select placements. By default, automatic placements is activated. When automatic placements is active.
Your promoted posts will show on several placements outside the Facebook newsfeed. When automatic placements is off, you can select where you want to show your promoted posts. Now you have to set up your budget and duration. First, select your total budget or enter a budget amount of your own. Then select the duration. You can select a predefined duration of one day, seven days or 14 days.
You can also select the date to stop running your ads by clicking on the calendar function below. You can activate tracking conversions, to track actions taken by visitors on your website. To track conversions, you need to create and install your facebook pixel and we're going to show you how in a following lesson. Lastly, yeah To select the currency that you're going to use to pay for your ads, review your ad and the preview window to make sure that everything is set up correctly, and then click on boost. You'll be asked to provide your payment info if you have an ad that already, you can then click on continue to submit your ad for review. Your ad will launch in about five to 10 minutes after you submitted.
