If your traffic doesn't convert, then you're just wasting your advertising dollars. Facebook ads can help you to drive conversions on autopilot with a simple campaign setup. In this lesson, we're going to teach you how to create Facebook ad campaigns that drive conversions, creating a conversions campaign. Start on the ads manager dashboard and select conversions as your marketing objective on the campaign creation page. When you select conversions as your marketing objective, the Facebook algorithm will optimize your ads to help you get more people to take valuable actions on your Your website, such as adding payment info, or making a purchase, the facebook pixel will help you to track and measure these conversions.
Enter a new name for your conversions campaign in the campaign Name field, and then click on setup add account. Enter your information here if you haven't done so, and then click on Continue setting up the ad set. Now it is time to set up the ad set for this campaign. Start by typing a name for your new ad set in the ad set Name field. Now move over to the conversion section. First, you have to select where you want to drive traffic to generate conversions.
You can select website, app, messenger or WhatsApp. For this example, we are going to select the website as our conversions destination. When you select website as your conversion destination, you have to select a conversion event. Conversion events are the events that you are actively Tracking with your facebook pixel. There are several types of conversions that you can track and encourage. In this example, we are going to optimize our conversion ad for leads to encourage our targets to explore our offers.
You can activate dynamic creative, to automatically generate optimized creative combinations for your audience. You can also activate offers on your ads when you select conversions as your marketing objective. Now it is time to define your audience. Start by selecting your locations. Now select your audience's age, genders and language. Now set up your detailed targeting and connections.
When you create conversion campaigns, we recommend you to select the Edit placements option from the placement section and deselect all placements except Facebook feeds. This will help you to focus your ad spend only on engaged Facebook audiences Now select your budget type, your total budget and your schedule. Click on Continue to move to the next step, creating the ad. Now it is time to create your ad. Start by typing a name for your ad in the ad Name field. We've already walk you through the ad creation process.
So in this example, we are going to click on the use existing posts tab to promote an existing page post to drive content views on our website. When you select to use existing post, you will simply have to select a Facebook page where you're going to show your ads. Then you have to click on this like Post button in the creative section.
