Okay, hello. And today we are going, I'm going to teach you about the four kinds of belief systems that we have, hey, this is a hint. And I love teaching you things on resilience, belief change, productivity. And it's all in my book as well. And but I thought that it's nice that when you hear it, sometimes it really makes a difference when you hear it in sort of reading about it. So thank you for joining.

And if you want to tell me who's who's joined and you, I will ask your questions as we go along, and you can write some comments or say, Hey, how's it going? Okay, so let's start with the first first kind of belief, and that is belief about cause and when and you will notice this belief when someone says things like, I am doing this Because or I am like that because so the word is because when someone says that, you know that it's, it's a belief about a cause. Okay? So for example, I could say, I cannot do any kind of public speaking because I stutter, because I'm shy. So that's a belief. Or I will never be successful at a business because my parents were not successful, because I don't know anything about business, because the economy is down.

Okay? So you see how when they when we make sentences, and we put these words they actually form beliefs in our subconscious mind. And it's our job to change that and I'm going to show you how after another example, is that you know, a lot of people have this idea about wealth and the ceiling that they can reach. So they will probably in the back of their head be saying, I can never be wealthy. Because I'm always going paycheck to paycheck. I can never be wealthy because I don't know how to have so much money.

I don't want to be wealthy because other family members will come to me all the time and ask for money, so I don't want to be wealthy. So you see how we form these kinds of beliefs, even when we're not seeing it? We're thinking about it. Okay. So why don't you do me a favor and if you're watching this live or the recording after, put in the comment section, a belief that you have with the word because the second one is belief about meaning. Now, we, even though we're known as human beings, we don't know how to be all we know how to do is think think think and maybe do sometimes, we should be called Human beings are human, you know, anyway, but you get the idea.

So we make meaning about everything with our thoughts. And we just don't have one thought, right, we'll have one thought upon the other upon the other. And we make meaning out of that, well, that's not the right way to do it, because you'll be walking down the street one day, and someone will, you know, look at you differently. And you don't even know what they're thinking, but we make the meaning out of it that, you know, they didn't like me or they didn't like the way I was dressed, or they didn't like my shirt or this or that. So we make meaning out of it automatically. And we need to stop doing that.

Now, how do we know that a belief is about a meaning. So just to give you some examples, right? I could say things like because I'm a woman. I will never be a leader. Okay. Now I know I started with the word because but you can even say I'm a woman.

That means That means I will never be able to lead. Another one is too much wealth makes people behave differently. So you see how we made meaning about rich people? Right? Another one is change, change is very challenging. And we made meaning about it already that change is hard.

Okay, so I hope that these examples are helping you how the first one is about cause that you make the belief about cause and the word to look for is because and the second one is we make meanings about different things. Okay. Even when I did my Facebook Live video on my business page about what I went through after my first chemo, you know, it was so interesting to get all those comments and I had over 100 comments I've had so far, where people are saying, Oh, you're so brave, or you're so in inspirational. And to me, I never went in with the intent to do the video to show them that I'm brave. But I just wanted to share my journey so that I can help others about what has helped me, even though I went through such a hard time my first week, and it was interesting to see the comments because then I started thinking, Okay, people make meaning about cancer, and about chemo treatments.

They think it's it's that that it's weak that the person becomes weak and nauseous and all that and i don't i didn't go through any nauseousness I didn't even throw up. I went through fatigue for a couple days, but for me the pain was the worst and that was it. So you see how people make meaning about cancer and chemo treatments too. So there you have it. Okay, let's go to the third one is you making notes? Alright.

What I want you to do now is also put a comment after watching this video and say what kind of meat of liking Belief Have you made about meaning? Okay. So what are some things that you think about maybe wealthy people, or about poor people, or about think people or about overweight people, we make meanings about them all the time to write, or even about business or life. Okay, the third one is what we what I call meaning about possibility. And here there are two categories that, that the outcome is possible for you. And that's how you think, or the outcome is impossible for you.

And that's the way you think. So let's go to the first one, if the outcome is possible, then you will go for it and you'll get the desired outcome. But if they are, and with the second one, if the outcome is impossible, then you won't even bother trying to go for it, right. In fact, you'll just give up ahead of time. So here are a few examples and I have my notes here. A good example about where the outcome is impossible is where starting a business in this economy is impossible.

So if I had the belief that, you know, if I start a business in this economy where the oil prices are down and people have lost their jobs, then I won't even bother going ahead with it. I will not even think about it. I'll say, let this pass and then I'll do it. But what if I change that belief, right? What if I say, well, you never know people could be looking for this. Another example is that, say if I went to a doctor, and he had told me or she had told me that my chances of living were quite slim.

Now see how when they say that I installed the belief that, well, what's the point I only have so much so many months to live. So it's impossible to even do anything. So I'm not even going to try so automatically. I make the belief that it's impossible. To start anything in my life because I only have like six months to live, right? But what if I change that belief and say no, I am going to make it possible and take control of my life so that I can I can live more I can be here for my kids.

Yes. Another good one is for people who are consultants or who work for themselves and are working on a project. And they and if they think that the project is, is not meeting their scope, or is not even doable, then they'll give up ahead of time. Well, what if it was right? This is what I want you to do, by the way is I want you to start listening to podcasts, podcasts and you know what you can listen to mine thrive in life. And it's all you do is if you have an iPhone or an Android, with with iPhone, it's iTunes, download podcasts that inspire you in your niche in your area that you want to build on.

Also, like for me, I listened to podcasts about business and think about speaking and things like that because I want to improve that area of my life. If you have an Android, then I believe it's Google Play or Stitcher. So do that. And when you're walking, when you're exercising, when you're driving, listen to podcasts on your iPhone. And if you download them and you subscribe to them, they don't get charged on your data plan. Okay, so let's go to the fourth one, the last one.

And that is booty about identity. And this is where it's about yourself, where you are identifying with yourself saying things like, I'm not worth it, because what's the point? Or I don't deserve this? Because, right, so even though I'm using the word because when we use AI, it means it's a belief about your identity. And these circle around the idea of success in life in your health is In your relationships, anything like that. So some examples are, I'm not worthy of success.

So when you have that belief to do with your own identity, you will never be successful. Okay? I'm not smart enough to be successful. How many people think that way? Right? You know, just because they weren't smart in math in school, that doesn't mean that they can be smart in something else.

Right. Another one is, I don't have it in me to be resilient. You know, that's, again about AI. Right? So when you think like that, then obviously, you're sending the message to your subconscious brain saying, I don't have it in me. So your subconscious then will send the message back to you saying, okay, that's right, then I guess, nothing you do will be successful.

And that's how it works. So you really have to push that comfort zone when it comes to the identity beliefs, and keep on like, when I started, I couldn't even order food. I couldn't talk on the phone. So I had to learn to really push my comfort zone. So I would start to pick up the phone and take my time, practice, practice practice without anyone being on the other end, and then make the call. And I slowly push that comfort zone.

And now I'm here doing this with you. I'm a speaker, things like that. But it took me 10 years to get over that fear 10 years. So things like that when you start to push that comfort zone, you will start to change the beliefs about identity. So let's just recap the four beliefs about cause has the word because beliefs about meaning or the meanings you make about people about life about things like that. beliefs about possibility, there are two kinds where the outcome is possible, then you'll go ahead and do it.

Or it's impossible will where you won't even bother, you'll just give up ahead of time. And the last one is belief about identity where you say things like I am or I okay, now how do you change this, there is several ways of doing it. And in fact, I'm coming up with Another course called the resilient Rockstar program that's for next year, where I'm going to teach people how to change this.
