Welcome to day 17. Yesterday, we looked at decision making, and that decision making helps the universe respond to the vibration of what you've decided. It catapults the things that you want, when you don't make decisions, then no energy is spent on creating the things you want. So it's a really interesting exercise yesterday. Today we're looking a little deeper on day 17 on decision making, and emotions that lie behind that. So we look at a wheel created by a person called Paul men, and he talks about how you'll have feelings, but they'll all originate from a certain emotion.
And the process works like this. You get triggered by something and Outside stimuli, then the brain creates an unfelt emotion, which then produces chemicals or hormones that then go through the bloodstream and turn into feelings. So you might have many different feelings. But if you look at this wheel, you can trace them back like a feeling of fear or what we've got here we go feelings of inspired are the good ones, hopeful they don't come back to being happy. There's negative ones of having grief, powerlessness, ashamed, go back to enter their feelings which will go back to the emotion of step. So this can help you get clear on where your feelings originate from which emotion and because we had many thoughts that run through our head, in fact, if we look at the post, it says You think 3000 thoughts per hour?
That's a lot of thoughts. And that would be decisions, your thoughts? Oh, I'm going to look at that. Oh, I like that. No, I don't like that. It's kind of like just you were deciding in your thoughts, where you focus, what you think is good, what you reject.
So they're actually thoughts are really decisions, where you're going to who you're going to speak to, or how you're going to feel about something or whether you're going to stay in that situation of feeling a certain way. All these thoughts are really decisions. And when you can grasp what these thoughts are, and these decisions are then you can move them in a certain direction. I mean, wouldn't it be fascinating if someone could download those 3000 thoughts that you just thought in the last one hour and you could read them and have a look at them, so you could get into yourself and go Wow 3000 this my 3000 thoughts I had no idea I felt these things. Well when you can identify all these things that you feel and these decisions that you're making, you can put them on course. Now that would be powerful.
And we what we're doing now is getting yourself being in being deliberate to our thoughts and being deliberate in making decisions or being aware and being educated and being constructive instead of not being aware of anything we are not connected to ourselves. This is why it's a great thing to know thyself is when you know yourself you going oh, well, here are my patents. Here are my thoughts and you can put get them on the right track. Don't do your old tracks. Don't run like distances here. Go to like train tracks that lead to a destination.
Stop. Stop going to places you don't want to visit. Yeah, get off that train trick. Get off the train. All right, well, what you are going to do in these exercises are actually thinking about what? How you make decisions, what emotion is behind your decision making and is behind a positive emotion.
Because if you made every decision from a positive emotion, then your decisions because if you think about it, when you make a decision, when you feel great and empowered, it's always an empowering choice. Like you feeling great. So I'm gonna go and go on a trip to go visit this island. I'm going to go meet my friends, I'm going to go educate myself. You always you're expanding yourself when you feel good. When you feel negative, you play small and you hold back and you say no and you and you limit yourself.
So therefore If all most of your decisions are more on the negative, then you end up end up having decided negative things or disempowering things or things that make you small. So today's exercise 17 is looking at analyzing how you spent your day you can just be aware of this, like at any time and say, Well, what decisions Did I make that are based on a positive emotion? And what decisions Did I make that were based on a negative emotion? So remember Bob Proctor's theory and his way of thinking about decision making, when you say, yes, the universe will respond and assist you with your decision. So well, I guess that works for the negative if you decide on doing something like saying no to an opportunity or no to expanding yourself, I guess the universe responds to you playing small. I guess it works both ways.
So, of course, you have big decisions and you have small decisions. And the big decisions need to be weighed out properly and you need to be educated. educating yourself to make proper decisions is the best way you get all the information you can so you can look at all your options and be empowered. When you need to make a decision and you don't feel right or good about it, you lose power you feel lost. And being a good decision maker is a skill that you will acquire. And I've spent my life being a decision maker and I've spent my life deciding well being a decider before at least to let other people decide for me, not everybody but when I was running my Business someone else would decide even though I would feel differently about something, and then we would have a argument about it.
Sometimes I had to let it go. And sometimes I, you know, spent my energy wanting to have it a certain way. And I realized, when I look back at all my journey, the decisions that were made, I also had a gut instinct about it. And it was always right. When I had these feelings, and and I just sort of didn't have the energy or enough information to really hold my position, I had to let it go. Now I build my I'm educated more, and I research and I look and I say, Well, you know, Google is amazing.
There's nothing there actually now and I love what Joe dispenza says. He says, There's no reason for ignorance today. You can find anything, anywhere on the net. It's all there is that's become my best friend really. And there's a lot of information out there. I'm very fortunate I sort of the universe always gives me the best stuff.
I don't have to look for too long to found what I need. It's sort of how I find when it's really it's a patent. And where does this patent come from? I love truth. So I get given when I see true I love true. So I get given it really quickly.
And if I and it works the same way, when I read someone's energy field that's always done really fast, I can go up appear the same that I look for something, it actually comes pretty fast. I'm not saying this always happens, but generally it does is quite amazing. So you'll get an exercise today to think about and you can keep this list here that's in your PDF. You can write it down after like every hour, what decisions you just made and where did they come from? What emotion did they come from and start to get to know yourself and look at what are you deciding because all those decisions will add up at the end of the At the end of the week at the end of the month at the end of the year, and take a look at what emotion they're coming from so that you get to know yourself.
This is really just an awareness activity. All right. Okay. And then it says, yes. All decisions add up and match the emotion you choose them from. Yep.
So basically that's saying, You choose you, you make a decision from a negative emotion, unless you're conscious of course. And I had done this if you're conscious saying, well, I really don't want to do that. But this is really the this is an empowered strategic decision that I know that I need to make. Then I'll make it against how I'm feeling if I'm in a negative place, I will still say no, I'm going to make it no matter how I feel about it. And it's it always works out, it works out, it always pays off. always pays off.
All right. So have fun with that. thinking, feeling, analyzing, deciding all those things. Take care. I'll see you tomorrow.
