Hi, welcome back. So in this lesson, we're going to be talking about all the information that you need to put on your plans for literally any project. And this includes the title block, for example, where you put your credentials as your name, address, your logo, then your clients name and address and also North arrow and the scale. So let's take a look at one of the projects that we did and I'll talk you through it. So this is a typical landscape layout plan. And it has a title block.
I prefer it on this side as when you roll out the paper, you can still see it and all the details on it. So a typical title block, you have a date, the scale, then we have the clients name, and then of course my name and address and my logo. You can also put a number for example like l one, which would refer to the sheet of paper. And the plan. For example, l standing for landscape Plan B would be for planting plan, let's say. And then we have the note aro and also something that is critical to any sort of plans.
And it's called the graphic scale. And this basically refers to how much of a distance presents How much on the plan. The purpose of the graphic scale is for changing the size of the drawing, either enlarging or reducing. So the scale changes the size as well as the plan. So it's still up to scale. So that's what we do with the title block and the information in it.
Now we're going to start looking at some trace paper overlays, start working on concept plan and working up IDs. So I'll see you in a few moments.
