This is an example of a rectangle of 45 degree design. So you are brought in through this straight linear rectangle to work. But at the back of the house, this is turned into a 45 degree design with the patio. So it's given a lot more interest by coming down and turn it into an angle. So it's just taking a regular renewal design until 2025 degrees to lead more dynamics and interest in it. And also just some concept of creating some privacy and subspace.
So to wrap up 45 degree rectangular or diagonal design, you simply take the rectangular design and you turn the composition 45 degrees to the house. And one of the strengths of this is that it helps to direct the view to different desirable areas or away from undesirable areas that might be visible from Within or without the yard from outside of the property line. So you can divert views to a greater degree you are moving people. And because of this 45 degree design, you will also help to lengthen to overall views looking out in a garden, it will make the garden appear longer than it really is, it gives the illusion of a greater depth. So, this design approach can be very dynamic, it can be formal and informal and it's very effective way to add an interest to garden. Still create your subspaces still create your dominant space but come up with something that just a little bit different and pull people out into the garden, create movement, give them some interest and some place to head for out in the landscape.
Okay, that's it for rectangular 45 degree design, and I'll see in the next lecture.
