So to summarize this lesson, first, you want to make sure that you have your paper squared on the drawing board. And also you can tape it out so it doesn't move. Once you've chosen the paper size you determine the scale of the drawing. If you are drawing a bigger property, I would probably suggest to use two different papers, one for the back garden and we'll put in front garden for example. So once you determine the scale, go ahead and start drawing your survey with a pencil. Don't draw too heavily don't just light enough so you can see for tracing over and it's also better if you make any errors you can easily just erase it and clean it up.
And once you have the site server all penciled in, you can come back and in case I have few tips for you. If you are drawing the fence line, don't assume that parallel with the house, always make sure that you make some measurements, maybe triangulations. So you, you do determine whether they are parallel to the house, or maybe perpendicular. So once you've done all the site survey and the drawing, we now have a good solid plan to work with for a later stage when we develop in the conceptual plan. And once we'll get to that stage, we'll be talking about putting a title block in the note sign and also a graphic scale, just in case you will either reduce or enlarge the drawing. So that's all for the summary.
