Lesson 97 This is the opening lick in the solo of one of my personal favorite Chuck Berry songs called Broken Arrow. And it was not one of text more popular songs but the lyrics I think are hilarious and the guitar and it is just so cool to be flat. And when he kicks out the solo he also uses this at the very beginning of the song is the song intro he plays something like this. So he's got going back and forth between the first blue Xbox a bunch of double stops. Nice little slide on the first and second strings. So this part right here pretty standard stuff, things we've done before in that first position loot box, check the tab.
So one more time. Now this slide we're gonna go this is B flat, first position. barre chord, we're going to go over the second position barre chord between the 13th and 15th frets first and second strings. Move that same shape from the 13th and 15th fret to the 11th and 13th to the D, position B flat chord, which if we just play it was on two strings with a 10th and 11th fret. So we saw that when we're talking about the solo and rip it up, so one more time slowly, this is the opening solo lickin Broken Arrow. It's so simple.
It's just so cool. And the words are words are awesome. My lady downtown to shop, she evidently didn't know when to stop great stuff. So anyway, that's number 97. We got a couple more to go
