Number 86 is a cool double stop lick that Chuck Berry uses in his solo in the song Oh baby doll in the key of E flat. This is kind of a brief example. But there's one concept one kind of lick that he uses here and in particular that I want to focus on. So this is the lick that I'm talking about goes like this. Play it one more time. So he's gone to that double stop with the pinky on the 14th fret of the first string.
Then he's gonna go back and forth 11 1311 on the first and second strings, and then he's gonna go right back. So it's like this That is the idea that I want to show you because Chuck Berry does this quite a bit where he does this quick doubling up of licks. So he's got this that he's got ended up just single string from the 11th to the 13th fret on the second string so the whole thing now if you continue to play something like this one more time doubling up of the leg. It's kind of a neat idea. And you'll hear Chuck Berry do that and a lot of different solos and fill licks and things like that in his in his song. So that is lesson number 86.
