Hello, and welcome to the lecture on forgiveness. This is where you want to take your audience into a deeply relaxed, meditative state and help them forgive someone else. So it's important to remember that in the living of life, that we cannot be happy if we cannot forgive. And the reason is, is that if we cannot forgive someone, then will always remain a slave to the feelings that we feel inside towards that person, be it hatred, anger and justice, victimhood, whatever. And so what we want to do with this meditation is to take our audience into a deeply relaxed state, and make it so they are no longer bound by that negative emotional relationship. So it doesn't mean that they're condoning bad behavior, or anything like that.
It's just that they're setting themselves free from that negative connection. So here's how it works. So you'll take your audience into a deeply relaxed state. Be it in a sanctuary or on a path or something, and then have them either walk down the path or be in their sanctuary, and they can hear someone coming in the distance maybe towards them or coming up from behind. And then they're going to be confronted with this person face to face and who it is, it's the perpetrator, or the person that they need to forgive. However, this person is only going to be about three or four years old.
So it's going to be when they're young, when they're vulnerable, when they're innocent. You know, it's gonna be prior to the time in their lives where they were conditioned or experienced a trauma that led them, you know, from those experiences to do whatever it is they did to your audience. And so what that does, is that it shifts your perception of your perpetrator. And so, and it also puts you in a perception that we're all in the same boat. We're all innocent. We're all vulnerable.
We're all young at one point. And so then you want your audience at that point to release that negative connection back to that small child. They hopefully will actually feel that leaving their body. And then when they do that child, that small child, the perpetrator, the person they need to forgive, can walk off into the sunset, dissolve, explode into color, whatever it is that their mind comes up with. So it's a very profound meditation that can really set people on the path to emotional freedom. So again, there's a script in the summaries, please use those to practice with.
And then let's go to the sample meditation of forgiveness. So I'll see you there.
