Welcome back to 20 moves in 20 days. Today we're going to learn the crop touch step. I'm excited to show this one to you. It's really fun. You can also jazz it up a lot with using different arms, adding snaps, all sorts of things. It's a great traveling step.
It's just one of my favorites. So I'm going to demonstrate it to you first heading towards you, and then I will break down what it is. And what's also funny about this stuff is you can do it forwards and backwards. So all that it is, and I'm gonna actually incorporate my arms now too, so you can kind of see the full picture is this. Yeah, and then of course, then you could reverse it. Alright, so all that I'm doing is crossing one foot over the other one crossing and then I'm touching my toe Here, right, so cross touch step.
So then I cross and touch, and cross and touch. So my leg is point, get to a fully straight leg and my toes pointed. And I'm actually kind of in a parallel position right here, it's not really turned out, it could be it's not commonly turned out though. So don't worry about that. And this light can be a little bit turned out, I think it sort of naturally happens because when you're crafting, it's turned out and so it kind of just stays there. So you're welcome to do that.
So I'm just crossing and pointing my toe essentially. So let me do that for you one more time. And then I'll, I'll face the way so you can see it from the other side as well but the cross and extend, cross and touch, cross, touch, cross, touch, cross, touch, okay, so then facing away from you, I go, cross, touch, cross, touch, cross. Touch crust, touch, cross, touch. Okay, so another thing I'll demonstrate for you is going across the floor doing it, but I'm going to go ahead and incorporate the arms because I think you will be able to grab that really fast. So, um, before I go across, what I'm doing is I have my shoulders engaged, so they are actually an opposition.
So we talked about this a lot. But if my right leg is the, what had been the crossing step, this is the right press touched up, and my left shoulder will be in front. And then you can add a snap if you want. You don't have to, you can just bring your arms down, do some jazz hands, or like I said, you can add a fun little snap, however you want to do it. And that's just one of many things. You could do all sorts of fun things where you bring your arm up, bring your arms down, it's up to you.
Okay, so I just happen to be partial to the snapping because I think it's Fun. So I'm going to go across one time and show you what that looks like. And then we'll learn the reverse. So we go one, and two, and 345 and six, and seven, and eight. Excellent, good. So you've learned it to the front.
You can also reverse these. You can reverse them in a couple different ways. But if you're doing a straight up, simple reversal of going forward, I'm going to cross back first. So again, if I'm starting with my right leg, my right leg is going to be the one to cross pine, the other one that I'm going to extend here, so cross, touch, cross, touch, cross, touch, cross touch, yep. And lastly, I'll go ahead and face the waist. You can see when I step behind me when I go cross, touch, cross, touch, cross, touch, touch, can use the same arms you can mix it up, but it is essentially the same crust, and two, and three, and four.
Yeah. So I'll do that one time, across the floor as well. So you can kind of see it from a different perspective. And then I'll leave it up to you to have tons of fun and even start putting these together so you can make even your own little combination. Alright, so, going across backwards, we have one and two, and three, and four, and five, and six, and seven, and eight. Awesome, wonderful.
Good work today. I will see you tomorrow and I look forward to that.
