Hello, welcome back to 20 moves in 20 days. Today we are going to learn triplets. triplets are kind of exactly what they sound like actually, there's three steps. And it's actually a pretty straightforward step. And then you could do all sorts of fun things with your arms. And then like with our pata berries, and triplets and a lot of other steps, eventually, you could turn them if you want, but we're not going to get to that today, we're just going to teach you the basic triplet.
So I'm actually going to show it to you first, with arms, and then we will break it down. So here's one version of the arms that you can do in collaboration with your triplets. So we go or, yeah, it's really straightforward. So we're gonna learn them together. It's three steps, each triplet, it's up, up, down, so it's going to be stepping on to your half point today. Going to be up, up.
Third step, please both legs. As you can see my heel stays popped on my back foot. And I want to bring that back foot through because we're going to constantly alternate. And then I'm going to go up, up, down. Good. Again, starting with our left leg, you go up, up, down, up, up, down.
Good. So, as you'll notice, the steps continue to traveling forward. So if there's no crossing or anything like that, you're just going to take parallel steps that travel you forward and you're just going to alternate everyone. So right, left, right, left, right, left, or back the other way. Left, right, left, right, left, right. Okay.
So, we're going to coordinate the arms now to the arms. And like I said, you can do so many different variations, you can come up with your own too. But I'll just teach you one that's relatively standard. It is kind of similar to what we did when we practice with our favorite turns Actually, it's one near your cheekbones, but out. Yeah. 123.
Now that three is going to be opposite whichever foot is in front, which you would expect. At this, for instance, we talked about opposition so much, and then that's what you can just continue to do 123 and 123 and 123 and 123123. Yeah, so let's try coordinating. So, I'm heading to the right my right that's going to be in front because it's the first step on my right triplet. My Start Here I go 123 and now I know that my right leg ends up in front for right triplet, so I want to have my left arm coordinate with that, then I go to my left 123. Okay, again, ready 123123 good.
Couple more times 123123 and again 123123 good, absolutely great work. That's your triplet. It's a simpler move that you get to work on today. So if you feel like you want to get funky with it, then I would recommend trying all sorts of different arms. Really Work on your coordination and you will be good to go. Great job today.
I will see you tomorrow.
