Welcome back to 20 moves in 20 days. I am excited to share with you a jump today, which is awesome. We have been building up are all sorts of different moves through our beginning things where we worked on our center things like our kickball change and jazz square pivot turn, we've done some moving things that have traveled us across from one side to the other, worked on some turns. And now we're going to start working on a couple jumps. So we'll do one today and one tomorrow. And then that will be your 20 moves.

Oh my goodness, you've made it so far. So fast. Good job on everything that you've done so far. All right. So I'm going to demonstrate it first and then I will break it down. And this jump is a parallel Richard Ray sotae or as some people like to call it a torch jump.

Okay. So from here, I'm going to travel across I'm gonna do two shots days, which you already know. And then I will step in jump. So what's gonna go shot a right shot, say left, step step jumped. Yeah. Or to the other side, I go shots, they left shots a right, step, step, jump.

Alright, so the torch jump itself, the position is your toe connected to your knees in that red tree position that we practice with pair wet. And then I'm going to play a jump off that foot and land on that foot. So it's the same foot, we don't want to, we want to try to keep that position the whole time in the middle of the jump and to land. That way. If you don't come down, our right foot doesn't come down too fast. It just is here, right?

And my arms are going to be opposite right here. So we already basically are set up for success in that way because we're doing our opposite arms with our shot days. So we're going shots a right shot, a left, run or walking Right leg, I'm going to tap the left and because I'm heading to the right, my right so it is the prominent or dominant however you want to think about it one. So it's going to come up to my parallel rhetoric here. I'm going to jump and land. Okay, so you almost want to picture a moment right there.

So let's practice that together. So we do shot a shot, say, step, play, jump. Normally, we wouldn't Of course, slow down in between, but something to make sure was super clear to see. Let's go left. We have left and right, step, play, jump. Okay.

So we're going to do that a couple more times. I really want to emphasize the fact that just kind of that transition. So from our shot phase, we've gone right, we've gone left we step right. Then this is what's going to turn us back to face the friend. Okay, cuz we been traveling to the side but we're in turn to face the front for the actual jump, or in a play that left foot, my right foot is going to come up. This is where I'm going to jump.

And this is where I'm gonna land. Okay, in theory, if we had space for it from here, this right foot would be free to turn and then we could start right back in right, left, right, left jump. Okay. So let's give that a whirl. A couple times right, left, right, left. So we have right and left, right, left.

Other side, left and right, left, right, jump. All right, again. Right, left, right, left, jump. And last time, left, and right, left, right. Good. That's it.

You All right. So again, if you have some more space, I would encourage you to try them sequentially do a couple in a row because that's really fun. And then if you have more space to you can really travel those shots save, really build up the momentum so that your torch jump is super high. And that will just be awesome to see. All right.
