Welcome back, we're at step seven. lesson three, how many questions? Don't ask questions just for the sake of asking questions. Ask questions because you want to assess your learners mastery of the content, or of the process or of the skill. If you've got complex objectives from saying level four, or five or six, you'll probably need multiple questions for each one. Again, if you have a lot of enabling objectives underneath your terminal objective, you'll need at least one question for each enabling objective.
This is a short and simple lesson, simply because it's a short and simple concept. Don't ask questions just for the sake of asking questions. Look for the key elements of what learners need to be able to do or what they must know to master the process and ask questions about those. Don't ask a complex question for a simple objective and ask enough to make sure that you're assessing for mastery for every key element of the process.
