One of the most famous songs that you can play in the key of D would be free fallen by Tom Petty. Now, I believe he plays it in the key of F. So you just put your capo on fret three. And again, you can head over to YouTube. And there's tons of tutorials on that song. And just so you know, E minor, A, D sus two and a sus two can also be used in the key of D. And again, what I would do is just go to ultimate guitar.com and look up a song that you enjoy. And if it's not in a particular key or uses chords that you're aware of, just hit that transpose button to go to a particular key and you can try playing the song with the chords they have there.
I'm sure a lot of the songs That you go and check out we'll have courses that you're not totally aware of how to play, but just give them a try. And then you'll learn a new chord right and extend your chord vocabulary.
