Hey, and welcome to Module Two, where we will be learning about the key of E minor. A key is a group of chords that go well together. A chord is a group of notes that go well together. A note is just a single string played one note at a time, or pressing down on a fret. So for example, to make a note, a B note, a chord is when we play a group of those notes. And it sounds really nice the importance of learning chords Because they are used and any and every song that you love to listen to, for example, whether you like it or not, happy birthday.
Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you uses chords. I just played two chords there to play the first part of happy birthday. So let's head on over to the second lesson and we'll get started learning the E minor chord.
