So now that we've learned the E minor pentatonic scale, let's learn the E minor scale. Now, a quick theory lesson. The E minor scale is related to the G major scale.
It actually uses the exact same notes. It just starts on E, and then goes to eat. Right. So G major scale is G, A, B, C, D, E, F sharp, G. E minor scale is using those same notes just starting on E, E, F sharp, G, A, B, C, D, E and it's three half steps down from So every major scale has its relative minor scale, which would be three half steps down from the note or from its root note.
