All right, let's take a look at that E chord. So what you're gonna do is you're gonna first make an E minor chord, like we learned in the last module. Then all you're going to do to make an E chord is put your index finger on the first fret of the G string. And then just strum all the strings. Again, fingers nice and curved, some space here. thumb down a bit.
Just give it a few strums. Use the pick, use your thumb just to check if the strings are ringing out. Again, maybe your fingers in the way, like say this strings not ringing out. Then check to see if your index finger is propped up properly. All right, you might want to go through each string. Make sure that ringing now if they're not, don't worry about it too much.
Just again, consistent practice will really help iron all those things out. So once you got that E chord, then we'll head over to the next lesson, where we'll start our chord progression in the key of A
