Hello, everybody, welcome to the second dashboard. In this video we will see how to use magsafe. Now let's get started. To do so, let's say first as usual if and we'll compare it with the country provided on the left. Making a constant should be equals to the country, which is from the data. Once done, we'll put in comma, then we'll get a valid if true.
Valid means what's the answer we're looking for. We're looking for the converted salary from the data. The one that you the user will be selecting in the future. Based on the user selection for which country it is, the currency for that country will be displayed. So Isn't that good? So I'll remove this part.
And so we do put a comment, we simply close the bracket and add her Now if we press enter, it will just say whether it is true or false. Now what we want to do is to take this formula and change it to Max, which will search for and give us the maximum number or the maximum salary paid out for the country, India for the year 2016. So, let's see, that is Max. And now simply close the bracket at the end. Now, Andrew will not work so we have to introduce the power of adding that is Ctrl Shift Enter, making max do something that normally max does not do. And that is calculating the maximum number for the given cell range based on the logic.
Isn't that fun? Now to convert this number for Matt just use Ctrl Shift exclamation mark and there it is. Just drag it down and the results are ready. So if I change the number to 2014 I get all the records for 2014 How did you see that? In India the lowest salary was 800 I guess that's maybe for an hour and here is the highest salary that so on and so forth. Now there is even less so anyway, this is just dummy data so it does not matter.
But that's how max if and many of can be done so we have such a small base for our dashboard. Now in the next video we'll see how to create a small table for max and min functions in order to get a maximum and a minimum salary for the given sector in slabs. Till then, keep practicing. See you in the next video. Thank you
