Hello everybody, welcome to the third dashboard. In this video, we will see how to create a trend from the trend chart that we have created. To do so First, we will keep the cursor in the chart. And we do have a plus icon we click on plus icon so there is an option called trend line. So from the trend line, we can have multiple trend lines, we go for more options is asking me which trendline I'm looking for. Currently, I'm looking for both.
So I will take the first one, that's all. And that's the trendline for all so we'll go with a little bit of linear gives a straight line. So we will go for that exponential trend that will show the bend. And let's try a small example. So if I say HR two currently the trend line is only for the whole data so it's exponential. And if I try for something else like bend or so it changes accordingly.
So we will go with exponential. Now I do I also want to trend for the data that I select. First, let's change the formatting a little bit. Go to fill, underline and select solid. A little bit of gray will do. Yep, there it is.
Now let's add another trend line. And again, we will go with exponential. So let's keep the cursor out. Now select exponential. Now, it will again ask now this time, I wish to do it for HR. That is whatever the user selects, I click OK.
So there's a small trend line. Let's change the color. So solid and we'll keep a little violet or maybe a better one. Let's try dark blue. Now that should do it with dotted lines. Yeah, there it is.
So that's an exponential. And if we need to do any kind of changes, we can try out multiple processes of formatting like two pointers. Linear if you want to have a straight Rate line, etc. So exponential is what we'll be going with. Now our trend line is complete and our dashboard is ready. The third dashboard, which actually shows us multiple data at the same time.
So if I go with USA, so that's USA data, and if I go with India, so that's the data for India. And if I'm looking for finance, then this is the record for finance and so on. So based on the selection that the user makes, I see the trend I see the average trend across the world. Apart from that, if I select a specific country, I do see the average compared to the world revenue generation and I also know what is the skill needed and what is the skill salary. So as we can see here, the word power and excel are quite important refreshers are not that much considered. I'll just align the data.
So there it is. We are done with the three dashboards so that was a combination. In the next video, we'll just run through all the dashboards that we have created and sum it up. Until then, keep practicing and keep learning. See you in the next video. Thank you
