Hello, everybody. Welcome back to the second dashboard. In this video, we will create a base data for our dashboard. So the first thing we will need is all the unique countries that we have in our existing data. To do so, first we'll take the data will select the whole country column we have in one of the sheets, so I'll be getting 2013 data's for now we'll copy the entire country column, I've created a new sheet named data for the dashboard. So I'll just paste it.
Starting at the fourth row of column A and after I've done that, I will remove all duplicate entries. To do so I go to the Data tab. On the Data tab, I'll choose the option remove duplicates, in which in turn will select the entire column if it's not selected, and it will give me the option for multiple columns depends On my selection, as of now it's only one column. So only column A has been selected. I'll click on OK and automatically if there are multiple records in the same list, it will remove all the duplicates and I'll have just the individual values now as we can see that out of 11,943 there are 102 unique values in the data. Once done, click on OK. And now this is all the countries now I wish to calculate the average salary.
So I'll just name average salary. I also wish to see the minimum salary also, we want to see the maximum number of employees and the percentage contribution, so percentage number of employees that that should do it. So I wish to see the number of employees and the percentage, which we will be doing in the calculation part in the next video. Till then keep practicing. See you in the next video. Thank you
