Hello, everybody. Welcome back to the second dashboard. In this video, we will see how to get the percentage result. And based on that result, we will be plotting the data visually to the right, it will be a mini graph, which will change as per the requirement and based that we set up to get the percentage as a percentage I'm looking for is whatever existing data is provided by the number of employees, I would like to see the percentage based on four to 10 records that I have over here. It's simple. It equals to summation, summing up the entire data and we'll freeze it.
That will give me the total of the entire data record, which I have to divide it from the first record, what happens is I get a percentage result. So if I want to show this answer in a percentage, I'll just use Ctrl Shift five, or simply in the drop down sorry, from the Home tab, I can select percentage and increase the decimals. And I could just put in two decimals. Just select it, drag it Ctrl, enter or drag it down, which will in turn, give me the result. So I'll keep it at two decimals. Now Currently, the record that we see is based on the percentages.
Now here, let's see how to plot the visual graph over here. First armors it across. So that should do it. So this will automatically merge the rows for me where I have selected. Just give me a minute. Yep, that should do it.
So here's the record. Now I'll use repeat the text that I want to repeat, so enter hash. So in double quotation put in hash, and how many times do I want repeat, I'll specify the percentage bracket closed, enter. Okay, the percentage is quite low, so I'll select the number that is all select the percent into 100. That should bring up a proper value. I'll just drag it down.
That should give the overall result that I'm expecting. Yeah, that in turn brings the data into a normal number. And as we can see, the first ranking is the highest of what we have. So if you wish to change the parameters, you can put in some other parameter that will satisfy the requirement. So we'll keep it a hash. That's it.
In the next video, we'll create a slider as we change the sliders over here, the numbers will also change. I'll complete the rest of the records as well and we'll get back to you soon. Till then, keep practicing. See you in the next video. Thank you
