In this lesson, we're going to make a duplicate of our custom ring collection for a client. So the client is going to be you or me. And I'm just going to make a ring that says, print that thing. So to do that, let's right click on our custom ring collection, and duplicate collection. And let's call this in this, you can type in your name, you can type in anything you want. I'm gonna do my company's name, print that thing.
So let's do custom ring, print that thing. And now we've got a new collection. So let's hide the old one, turn all these little icons off. And now we can make custom text for a client and I want mine just a little bit larger. So I'm going to click on custom text and scale that up maybe like pretty large. So make your your text just a little bit larger.
And then we can grab it with the G key and hit z. And then slide it down. Let's hit three to kind of see make sure we're in the middle here. G and Z axis and just make sure we're in the middle. That's another good thing for orthographic, you can really tell if you're in the center. And now we've got these really cool text popping out of our ring here.
And so let's go ahead and change this text. So I'm going to hit tab to go into edit mode, and notice that the text has gone back flat, but there's this little dash behind it, and that is your backspace. So let's just delete that and write something completely new. Let's do print. That thing, you can type your name. And then once you hit tab, it's going to snap it back.
And look. It's already wrapped around that ring. Pretty cool. So I'm happy with that. Let's go ahead and join these together.
