In this section, you're going to learn how to slice up a model into a bunch of different parts. And sometimes this is helpful if you have a huge part that you need printed, but your printer is kind of small. So you can slice it up and print it in sections. Or you could just do it for kind of style for look. You could do it for community based projects, but I think it's a really good skill to know if you want to be a 3d print designer, how to just slice something up in very customizable way. So I'm going to show you a few different ways to do that in Blender 2.8 beta.
