Since we know what a marketing funnel is, now we should talk about types of marketing funnels. Honestly, there are a lot of funnel variations, but I want to share with you the two I've used and that have proven to be quite effective. Let's start with the simplest marketing funnel, and the simplest does not mean that the funnel is not effective. No, it means it is simple to implement. This funnel would work best for products under $100. If you sell high end products, you might consider the second funnel I will present because it is designed for 297 to 2009 97 products.
For your low dollar and mid range products, however, this simple funnel should work well. Here is an exemplary funnel. This will not surprise you. But on the very top of the funnel, you have a squeeze page. You are familiar with this concept but to refer memory, visitors exchange their email address for something of value that you offer for free. This is what we call an ethical bribe or a lead magnet.
It must be a free report chichi toolbox online course we've talked about that already. When visitors opt in to receive their lead magnet, you have two options as to what will happen immediately after the option. The first option is to deliver your lead magnet immediately. Or option number two, you can present what's called a one time offer. In this one time offer issue low dollar product. I hope you remember the lecture on your product line.
Now I can hear you asking Vladimir which option is better for me. Honestly, I do both in they work great. If you're running Pay Per Click ads, your job will be to quickly return the money you spent on these ads. Therefore a one time offer will be a very important part of your funnel again Because you want to see a return on your investment as quickly as possible. It's important to mention that I don't use E double opt in for my squeeze pages, I use a single opt in. And even if you know what that means, I want to share my opinion because this topic is quite controversial, and many marketers argue about it.
You have a double opt in process. When a visitor lands on your page, your squeeze page enters their email and hit the submit button on whatever the name of the button and immediately after that, they see a confirmation page saying we've sent you an email please confirm your email address or something of that sort. Only when they confirm their address their email address, they will become your leads and enter your list respectively. You have a single opt in process when visitors don't need to confirm their email address. After they opt in, they immediately become your leads and trigger an automation in your email autoresponder for example, I personally use a single opt in process, I recommend that you do the same. If you work on projects where the quality of your leads is critically important, then you can use a double opt in process.
Now let's continue. Visitors opt in and they immediately get your lead magnet. But that's not all by opting in. They trigger an automation email automation in your email service provider Active Campaign for example, that email automation consists of five emails that you have written in advance. Here is email number one, email number one is fired immediately after opt in or five minutes after they opt in. You're flexible here because you can set up the timing precisely.
Email number one is very important because it will do a few things first, provide a link to your lead magnet. Second, this email is about introducing yourself in your business. I've dedicated a whole lecture on your First email so that that's gonna be it from now, on the two, you sent your second email. This email is all about providing value listen closely, do not sell yet, you haven't built a relationship yet, you haven't proven your expertise, you haven't answered the objections or questions your prospects have. Therefore, email to is all about providing value that is relevant to the topic of the lead magnet. Remember, everything is connected.
It is one sequence, it should flow naturally. This is why I recommend when you sit down to write the emails for your email sequence, do it in one day. So these emails can be perfectly aligned. on day three, you don't send any emails, you want to give you a lead a little break. on day four, you do the same thing as on day two, you provide value However, this time, similar at the end of the email you mentioned, your main offer Again, it should be less than $100. Don't try to sell it hard.
Just mention it. Cake. And by the way, if you need a step by step approach towards reaching 1000 subscribers in 30 days, feel free to take a look at my program massive conversion, and you put a link there. Again, you don't sell hard. on day five, you don't send any emails, right. on day six, you do exactly the same as on day four, you provide value, and you mention your product.
You do what's called soft selling here. on day seven, you do a hard sell. This email is all about promotion. As you will remember, a critically important part of any marketing funnel is urgency. So on day seven, besides doing a hard sell, you must inform your lead that the offer expires in 24 or 48 hours. This will urge them to make a decision.
This will urge them to say yes or no No to your offer very important. If your offer doesn't expire, or your funnel doesn't have urgency built in, it wouldn't be that effective. So urgency is a big deal. This was an example of a basic marketing funnel that you can use to sell your products and really excited about this section because honestly, this is where you learn world class marketing. This is where you learn how to sell. Okay, let's quickly recap.
Number one, use simple marketing funnel for selling products with a price tag under $100. Number two, you send five emails, one introduction to value three value plus soft sell four value plus soft till five, hard sell. Number three, don't forget to add urgency to the funnel or it won't be as effective as it could be. Number four, use a single opt in if possible. And even if you're not sure what to say in these emails, what to write about, don't worry, I've got you covered. I've uploaded the swipe files of the emails from my sequence and you will see examples of value based emails and promotional emails and applying urgency in the emails and so on.
I will teach you everything. Thank you for watching and stay purposeful
