Hey, welcome back, watching me right over here. I hope you apply the information from the previous lecture, and you came up with five topics to teach. If you've done it great. If you haven't, please pause this video and go back watch video number one. Because all of the videos in this training are connected in your understanding your perception will be higher if you watch them in the order I recommend. Plus, in the previous video, I answered very important questions people asked me the most what where should they start from and what should we teach first?
In the previous video, I should With my personal story and my unsuccessful attempts to monetize my blog, however, I don't regret these attempts, because this is what allowed me to discover this big opportunity and ultimately find my life purpose, which is to help people solve their problems and improve the quality of their lives and making good cash doing so. I share with you the big idea I came up with starting in developing an online teaching business that's going to be generating residual income on a monthly basis. I wanted to prove to myself that this business model works and I created even more courses. As you remember, I started with self leadership and marketing fundamentals. But then I got more experienced and I created courses I started teaching courses on copywriting, productivity, social media, success habits, in even creativity. So These courses have become very, very successful.
Now let's go to my laptop. And I'm going to show you an example. The screenshot you see is from Skillshare. And you can see that my course on Instagram is number three in the category Best business classes. The first place is taken by Seth Godin, chances are, you know, this marketing genius. And number six is Simon Sinek, a brilliant public speaker.
It's great to be next to such names in the rankings like this. Their courses have been on the platform for a few years now. While mine has been there for three months. That's why you see so big of a difference in the numbers of students. There are over 12,000 courses on Skillshare and mine is number three in the business category. This is simply amazing.
Of course, this is a ranking and my question. will go up and down, but that's okay. Or how about my course on success habits? Take a look, I received 119 positive reviews out of 122 total. You don't see these kinds of results very often. That means I know something not just about creating courses, but creating high quality courses.
In video number one, I made a big promise. I said that if you study the material from this video, you will join the top 10% of online instructors who are able to produce high quality courses that have a chance to become bestsellers. And right now I will deliver on that promise. Again, I chose to teach you how to create high quality content that students love. Because I asked a question, what is the number one fear you're experiencing? When you think about establishing an online teaching business in another Words what's holding you back.
And the number one fear people have is this, I am afraid that people will not like my content. For example, here is what kinds of emails I receive almost every day. Of course, I will blur the names of these people. My number one fear is that I don't know what to teach and how it will be received. I answered the first part of the concern, what to teach in video number one, but how it will be received. That sounds like I'm not sure if people are going to like the quality of my content.
Hi, my biggest fear is that my content will not be concise and succinct. This person is talking about very important qualities online courses should have. They should be concise and succinct. Again, this is a question of quality. Or how about this one? Dear Vladimir, thank you for the email.
The Links in the courses, I really appreciate the support. The one thing that has been holding me back is the technical aspect of creating the course, the video, the graphics, and other sweeteners such as animations, etc. But I'm now realizing that I can put together a pretty good course by using PowerPoint to its fullest capacity, that skill and your courses are beginning to really motivate me. Even though he's talking about the technical aspects of graphics, animations and other sweeteners. What is he really saying? He's concerned about the quality of his videos because quality has two aspects.
The first one is technical. And the second one is the quality of the content of the information concepts, ideas and techniques. The first aspect is more than easy to master. I mean, you can go to YouTube type how to create a PowerPoint presentation and watch Two or three videos done, you're good to go. However, the challenge comes when we talk about the quality of content, the quality of the information. And this is going to be the purpose of the lecture you're about to watch in a minute.
I just showed you three emails. But I'm receiving a lot of these every day from all kinds of smart people just like you. Because the very fact you're still watching this video training is indicative that you care and you're willing to create creation. That's the central word for each type of entrepreneur. Honestly, reading these emails makes me feel sad, because if I don't do something about it, these people will then share their passion with the world and as a result, generate income. I'm going to eradicate this self limiting belief once and for all, because I will provide you with the model for producing high quality content.
You can apply this model regardless of the topic you teach, or use all the concepts, methods and techniques that I will teach you in a moment for my courses, and as a result, I received over 2000 positive reviews from happy students. And that number is growing fast. And more specifically, I want to show you some of the reviews I got Not to brag, but to help you understand what qualities your content must have in order to be successful. Because Come to think of it. These reviews are simply a reflection of my content. The reviews you're about to see came from students enrolled in my course.
Success habits, dot three habits of extremely successful people. All right, let's see. Listen for keywords. Brief, powerful educational, love Vladimir's courses. clear, concise in useful strategy. This class was excellent in simplifying things for me.
I have written listened to a few things about habits and trying to set about controlling them. Up to now, I have been a little overwhelmed. But this course has laid out some starter steps that I appreciate and I can put into action. Thanks Valdimir. clear and concise. I like the format and the examples.
It gave me something to think about a lot glasses like this is I can watch one a day and be reminded continually of how I should be working towards my goals. Inspiring, concise, in interesting class, you can tell that the teacher is authentic, and really sharing what he believes. Thanks so much. Very clear and interesting course about developing good habits, really clear videos and from a person who lives these values. Thank you for listening. insights in ramping up my motivation.
Vladimir Reichel made the information easy to digest, and help encourage you to set goals and how to achieve them without making it seem impossible. The information he provided was current in world while I enjoyed his speaking tone and the content. I'm going to stop right here because I think this is enough to see the patterns, I can tell straight away. The top two words used in these reviews are clear, and concise. I like the format the information is easy to digest, excellent in simplifying things for me, brief, powerful educational and so on and so on. As you can tell, these reviews didn't come by chance.
I used very specific concepts and models to create my lectures, so they possess the qualities we've just talked about. Well, it is time to teach you how to create lectures and courses of study. high quality, fasten your seat belts. Now I'm going to play the presentation I've prepared for you. In order to produce high quality, best selling courses, you need to do three things. Number one, you have to create content that motivates people to take action, because this is how they will solve their problem.
Number two, you will have to make your lectures easy to understand and follow. That's your job. It's not your students job. And number three, you will have to be very clear and succinct with your explanations. In other words, go straight to the point. Don't beat around the bush, because your students value their time.
All right, that already sounds like a challenge, right? Remember, I'm not just talking about creating a course. I'm not talking about mediocracy. I'm talking about high quality content here. Because this is how you will shine. This is how we will position you as an authority in your niche.
How can they do these three things above you may ask? Don't worry, I got your back. Let's tackle them one at a time. Number one, you will have to create content that motivates people to take action. The best way to motivate people to take action is by using a proven model that works. Fortunately, I've created such a model introducing the AYP model, A stands for accurate, P stands for practical in E stands for exciting, accurate, practical, exciting, in these are the qualities your content should have.
It has to be accurate, practical and exciting. The first word accurate. It is very important to present accurate information, information that works. You don't want to mislead your students because this will get you into negative reviews. accurate in this sense also means timely information because what worked in the past might not work today. For that reason, if the content you create and present doesn't come from an evergreen market, you will have to be doing the necessary updates.
Number two, the second word practical, the information you present should be practical meaning people can easily apply it and see results. complex concepts are challenging I know but your job will be to simplify and express them clearly. Forget about the academic writing style invoice, forget about complex rarely used words. The real power comes from simplicity. One definition of the word practical is this connected with real situations, rather than with ideas or theories. One way to make your information practical is to When you structure it, this will be your job again, use the step by step approach and the psychology of small wins in your students will be able to apply the knowledge.
Small wins are nothing more than progress points on your students way to the outcome they want to achieve. And the psychology behind these progress points is that people experience the feeling of accomplishment, the feeling of accomplishment that motivates them to go further and accomplish more and more until they get the desired outcome. And the last word, exciting. One of the rules in copywriting is this never be boring. never write boring copy. By the way, that's number one reason why people don't read or watch something because it is boring.
Nobody wants to spend time on something boring. So another task you have when creating content is to add a bit of extra Add month to create exciting lectures. You have to be positive, conversational and polite. As I said in video number one, emotions are contagious. If you want to excite your students, be excited yourself when you present information, talk passionately and confidently. This is the best way to go about it, check out the difference.
Today, I will teach you how to create extremely high quality content that people love. Today I will teach you how to create extremely high quality content that people love. However, notice the difference, same sentence, different energy level. Alright, this is how you motivate people to take action when you create content that is accurate, practical and exciting. Next, you will have to make your lectures easy to follow and understand. You will achieve that when you follow the same structure for all your lectures.
I've tried a lot of things, but here is the one I found works best. First of all, your lectures should have clear objectives. And here is the framework. First, introduce your lecture, tell students what they are going to learn. Second, teacher lecture explain the concept, technique, tactic or strategy in a clear and succinct manner. Third, recap your lecture, tell students what they have learned.
And also you can add an action item in the end of the lecture. It's always good to have action items, but it really depends on the topic you teach. Sometimes, it might be better to create an action item for the whole section that consists of, let's say, five lectures, then to create action items for each lecture. So, introduce teach recap in an action item. This might sound simple, but it is deadly effective, it will skyrocket the quality few lectures in your students will be happy. And finally, whenever possible, try to include examples because students love them.
Next, number three, you will have to be very clear and succinct with your explanations. The best way to achieve this is by using a script. scripts are great in many ways. They will help you be clear and succinct. They will remove the tension of recording yourself and not knowing what to say. They will remove awkward thinking pauses and hums.
They will increase your productivity. Plus you already have a structure for creating lectures, which means you will be able to produce high quality content quickly. And just to prove my point, I had a chat with the most successful online instructor at Udemy. His name is Rob and he teaches web development. A really nice dude. I asked him rob a teach people how to create an There are online courses.
If you could give one piece of advice to a beginner, what would it be? And Rob said, make sure you script your curriculum. So it is concise and structured. Being an expert and passing on your expertise are two different things. I think Rob for his honesty and final, he said, it is the best way to make a good course. Now let's see a quick video where Rob talks about the importance of scripting.
There are a lot of people in the world that know their subjects and they know how to do what they can do. Teaching however, is often something that people assume that they can do without having actually tried them. One mistake I think a lot of people make is that I know my topic, therefore I can explain it. So they're just sick. On day one, they have their curriculum and they start talking into the microphone. And that's not the right way to do it.
If you haven't taught it, or if you're looking to put together a Udemy course, I would say a script is is almost certainly a good thing. I remember in my early days teaching, I would pretty much have a script for my lessons. And I would definitely write down anything that I was going to write on the whiteboard at the front. If you find that you're going around in circles, or you're not being clear, you're not being linear, then having a script is a great way to force yourself to be better and to think about it and to be succinct as well. That was a great video. Rob is brilliant.
So I hope we're clear on this one use script. Alright, let's recap. Use the eight model to motivate people to take action. AYP is an abbreviation A stands for accurate, practical, ie exciting. In these are the qualities your content should have followed. Introduced each recap structure when creating lectures.
Depending on your topic, you might add an action item. Examples are great. Use scripts to be succinct and to the point scripts help you increase your productivity, the overall quality of your content and it will remove any anxiety while you record your voice. Now I have a question. Are you still unsure that students are not going to like your content? I bet that by applying the information I presented, students will not only like your content, your lectures, students are going to love it.
And because I'm really committed to helping you, I'll give you a chance to download the script for the first lecture of my course on success habits. Download it on your computer and read it.
