What would you like to get out of this rejuvenation program? In this section, we're going to cover goals and objectives and the importance of setting intentions. So what would you like to get out of this rejuvenation program, it's important for us to search the real meaning of why we're doing something. Because when we find out why we're doing something, it gives us more of a reason and purpose for completed and overcoming obstacles in order to do that, so you may have some health concerns. You may have some mental emotional barriers around food, whatever it is for you, that you just maybe you just want to achieve optimum health. You may be quite healthy at the moment, we just want to take it to the next level.
So for the next five minutes, we're going to focus on goals and objectives and how we can utilize them in order to achieve the best out of this rejuvenation program. You may like to interview Meditation, you may like to take some nice deep breaths to pause this video. Take some nice deep breaths. center yourself and ask yourself those questions. What do I want to get over this rejuvenation program? What issues or problems Am I going through at the moment?
What difficulties of blocks of body as men do I have? And these questions will help us to see exactly what it is we want to achieve from this program. And once you've made that intention, it is so powerful. When we've made an intention to the universe, then the universe sets out to help us achieve that goal. Now, it may not happen in the way that we expect it to happen. But once we've made that intention, then things and opportunities start to come to us to help us or even challenge us.
Be aware that when you make some intentions or goals, that they will they will be challenged. Say for example, If there's an addiction, or if there's a particular food like chocolate or alcohol, that you're trying to give up, what I've experienced in my life and with my clients is that when you make that intention, and opportunities start to rise to test to see how serious you are about it. So once you've made that intention, just keep your eye out for those tests and challenges, because they will come and sometimes we may fail. But that's okay, because it's all part of the learning process. If we fall off the wagon a little and then jump back on it, that's okay too, too. Don't be too hard on yourself and don't let that get the better of you.
If for whatever reason, we do slip back and go back into some of our old patterns. That's fine, just be aware of it. But one step better than that would be to witness those opportunities as they arise. So just to be hyper aware, so for example, if I made the intention that I Didn't want to eat chocolate anymore. Once I made that attention, then I'd be ahead for opportunities coming up. So it may present itself in a way, like a friend will say, Come on, let's go to that coffee shop that we go to and have that similar chocolate the winner for you may actually be given gift, lots of chocolate.
That's particularly something that's happened in my life and things. Whereas before, when I used to drink, then I made the intention to give up drinking alcohol. All my friends would offer that before we come on stage you fancy coming out? Come on, I'll pay for it. And it says, every opportunity for me to get out and do it. But then I realized that these are all texts and challenges to help me overcome that.
And to see how strong my intention was. So how strong is your intention? And how much do you really want it? It's a good gauge, on a scale from nought to 10. At that time, on a scale of one to 10, I was around eight or nine. So it was very fun.
Guessing, but there were a couple of times when I did fall by the wayside and actually ended up going and drinking. So if you're maybe three or four, that's your motivation. And it may be an idea to look for another motivation. Another thing to go for, it appears that there's not enough motivation in order for you to get over those problems. It doesn't seem that you went through enough, you have to be at least over a five in order to overcome the problem, because otherwise there's not enough motivation to even bother doing it. Say for example, if it's to get out of the bed earlier in the morning, if you're three out of 10, your motivating factor is to do that, then it's not very likely that you're going to get a spring out of bed in the morning, it's more likely that you're going to switch the alarm clock off and pull, pull the quilt over your head and then sleep again.
So do that for your intentions. Whatever intentions you may set up. On a scale of nought to 10, and how motivated you are to get over these problems or issues, how long have they been in your life for and how much would you like to get over them? Then set goals and objectives. I will talk about this in some of the future programs but just for now, a little tip with regards to goal setting, you can state the fact in the present in the future tense So, for example, it is now 2020 and I am within my perfect dream home. I'm in the best of my physical health, I can actually see my stomach muscles.
My skin is so fine print. I look so healthy. I smile at myself and I see myself in the mirror and I am amazed at how far I've come. My energy levels are the best that They better be, like deeply grateful for everything that I have right now. That's just an example of going into the future. I'm making a solid intention, you're making a statement actually, that this has actually happened.
And the subconscious mind doesn't know the difference between the future or the past. So if you're seeing it in the present tense, then that allows the subconscious mind think Hang on a minute, this person is seeing that they've achieved it, they've already achieved it. So then it attracts everything around it, in order to make that a reality. This is how powerful goal setting can be. So do that with your intentions around health and this rejuvenation program, after you center yourself to take deep breaths and realize what your intentions are a little bit more specific. And say six months or a year down the line.
Then you'd be one year, three years, at the six years, working yourself back from that into the year. And now, what are the next steps that you need to take? That's all well and good going six years from now, where you ultimately want to be in life. But it's also important to come back to three years, one year, six months, one month, and this week, even today, what are the practical, small, achievable goals that you can carry out right now that are going to start you on your journey to ultimate health. Take the time, those things now, and it may be something very small, but small, achievable goals are very powerful, because it's worth the One, two steps, the thousands of miles are taken. So it's the first steps that actually make that it's the steps that are so important.
Because you got this rejuvenation program. So as we go through the program, start implementing these small steps through every video that you're watching. And you'll be amazed by putting these little things into practice, how we can transform your life. So that's a little bit of a tip on goal setting and objectives and intentions that we need to make. So I hope you enjoy doing that. I look forward to see next session.
