Now moving on to sprout in for health. This is a particular favorite of mine. And I've done a lot of sprouting in my time. And it's particularly beneficial when you sprout your own and very satisfying when you sprout your own. Because you get to see, see it grow in, and then you get to see where it's gone from, from literally from seeds to your plate. And they are so, so nutritious.
Please don't underestimate the value of sprouting. Because these sprouts, imagine how much energy they need to go from a seed to sprout into a little plant. Then while they sprout in into that little plan, then is optimum nutrition within the sprout. So that's when we want to be taking them into our system because at that time, it's obviously going to have much more nutrients within it. So we can buy sprouted seeds now even buy organic supplies. To online or in your local house shops, and you can even buy the Germany there's also you can get loads of sophisticated types of Germany does, but simply a jar with a muslin cloth on top and elastic bands will suffice.
And you need to walk through them and watch them on a daily basis. And different seeds and pulses will take longer or shorter depending upon them. So you do your own research on the timings for each particular one, you find that online, no problem and then just give it a go. Usually you need to soak them for a couple at least a couple of hours, even even up to 12 hours with some pulses before you scrub them. And then obviously draining the water off, put them into your jar of germinate there. You can get some really sophisticated ones that even do the water info now electronic ones that do the water in for you.
I personally prefer to use the jars or even using a stream their kitchen Kitchen strainer and putting my sprouts in there and then be able to wash them easily on a daily basis. That's very important as you're washing them and walk in and daily. It's important on so what watch TV is an act if you're using just conventional tap water, then at least you're still gonna get sprouts back you may be getting the chemicals, things like chlorine etc. Going on to stress which you don't really want to be taken on. So the next filter who will walk there to clean your sprouts in and then you can put them literally where you've grown them onto your plate into salad. And then you can cook with them even my wife in particular likes to cook with them as well to steam the sprouts and the add a new dimension dimension to foods.
They are your perfect complete food. vegetarians vegans. If you're looking for a protein source of complete food and sprouts, a perfect of our dr Brian Clements swears by them. And if you go to any doctor brain Clemens seminars you'll see a lot of his avid supporters and followers will be walking around with sprouted seeds and just snacking on them because they're really nutritious, they're delicious. And they full of nutrients. So they they have to keep the hunger pangs off.
They have to alkalize the system once providing real high density nutrition, so this is what we're looking for. We're looking for light foods, they've role costs, and we're looking for life raw foods, which are going to be alkalizing and energizing the system. When you start to eat sprouts, you may like to start just eat in small amounts, and then build up but you may want to go straight in and studied in large amounts of them. And I personally love them in put a little bit of apple cider vinegar, I think Himalayan salt or your local salt, your local sea salt or rock solid for example, then and it's a delicious salad in itself. You don't even have to if you haven't got the time you may be saying to yourself, I haven't got the time to sprout. If you haven't got the time to sprout, then simply order them online.

So there's no excuses these days, we can get this nutritious delicious food, so doorstep organically grown as well. And we can start to gain the benefits of sprouting on our health.
