In this section, we're going to cover the Chinese traditional elements, and how they relate to different seasons. So for example, in the springtime, you're looking at the element wood, which is related to liver and gallbladder. And then when we go into summer, we're looking at the fire element, which is related to the heart and small intestines, etc. And then as we move into late summer, we're going into the earth element. And the earth element is related to the stomach, pancreas, and the like. And then as we move from late summer, into often, we're looking at the metal system.
The metal is related to the mind, lungs call on and as we move from autumn into winter that's unrelated to the water element and kidney And bladder unknown systems. So, as we can see with a Chinese traditional approach and the elements then each element has a different responsibility if you like, if you look at the wood element, like for a tree for example, then the tree should be able to bend, but not break. And so when when in the element of wood in the springtime, we want to be focusing on things like the liver and gallbladder and within the naturopathic approach, there are certain naturopathic techniques you can do like castor oil packs, for example, but they should be done under the guidance of a naturopathic nutritionist because it depends on the individual picture or story as to why as to if you can use them on off and the contraindications etc.
So, we are available for one to one sessions and you can you can use this for things like that. So that's just to give you an idea sample of the things because at those times of year, those are the most beneficial times for those organs to be detoxed and worked on. And not only the organs because those organs also relate to different emotions. So we can see when people come into us and the present in which things we can see just by the emotions and by their particular organs, which should have the balance, then we can see which element we need to work on. And working on that particular element will improve their health. That's how we work in naturopathic nutrition.
That's what primarily what we focus on. We also use the iron VEDA and the door shares but primarily we use the Chinese traditional medicine approach with Henry Jones Phillips in the school naturopathic nutrition. You can have one to one sessions with us, offer the training with us, which goes into more depth. We can't go into so much depth around that in this rejuvenation program, but the idea is to have an overview and just to be aware, and also If you went in to do your own research around that, and to see which element you were predominantly are, each one of us is predominantly one element and will present with these types of factors or emotions characteristics, for example, which common for that particular element. And you can do different tests online, there's loads of tests available online as well so you can find out what element you are.
Therefore, once you found out what element you are, you can start in even doing different forms of exercise which match your element because some elements were like vigorous exercise, team sports, there's different for each one, there's a different recommendation with regards to training, exercise, eating habits, sleeping habits, it's all unique to which when we put Dom dominant in and if you go to a very special naturopathic nutritionist, or Chinese traditional doctor, then they will be able to treat you in relationships, they may not even say they may not say that. But this is what we train people on the course, is how to become more aware of that, because this is an ancient principle, which people have been living by for thousands of yours. And it's proved to work time and time again. And in our practice, we continue to see people coming in present them with those symptoms.
And when you work on those particular elements, then they start to get optimum health, just by making a few tweaks in relation to those elements. So that's just a little overview of the Chinese traditional system of the ancient Chinese traditional system and the elements in relation to that. And I hope that you can do some little research or even do some further training with us to further your knowledge and that you can use that and use it uniquely to your life. There's plenty things online like I said, so feel free to do some research and have a little test and see which elements you predominantly are and see if it works for you. It's worked for thousands of other people. I'm sure it will for you.
