When we're thinking about bad fats within the body and within the diet, we want to be thinking about actually how that those fats are affecting our long term health. And many studies have shown now that people who consume a high level of hydrogenated fats and animal fats particularly have difficulty with their digestion, bowel disorders, and ultimately mainly to chronic illness, such as cancer. In the 50s, there was a lady called Joanna Broderick, who was scientists to research the effects of processed hydrogenated fats on the human cell. And what she discovered was that most of our patients who came in to see her as a doctor want were eaten very similar diet, and that was the diet that was based on these heated baths. And these clients for example, on a high percentage of chronic illness Particularly cancers. So when we're looking at longevity of the cell and good TAF longer term, we are thinking about a real minimizing of these bad fats within the diet.
So we want to be looking at minimize them in the way of how we're cooking but also when we return out in the process food industry, they come in lots of amounts. So real reduction in those projects, the processed food, anything that's fried like crisps, chips, processed chocolate, they've all been heated up. And if a process food company speaks about that these foods are tied alternated, for example, if it's a margarine they have to be in in order to come from a liquid or into a solid fat. And so anything that should naturally be cold pressed and liquid, it's become solid fat has been hydrogenated, other than the obvious things like coconut All which naturally solidify, we're drawn to be sort of question really the marjorine industry dog. So, how those products have been processed and whether they have been heated beyond 42 degrees. So the impact on the body longer term is sluggish liver and how that manifests could be in to digest oil longer term, inability to digest any form of fat so that might be showing up as a gallbladder complaint.
Pain under the ribcage when you're actually eating or after eating a meal or needing to sleep after a meal as the blood sugar becomes a problem. nausea, fuzzy head, feeling like you're not digesting the meal properly, heaviness, and longer term that may then show itself as weight gain, particularly a layer of fat around the middle Even if a person is quite slim throughout the other parts of the body, and so in children, we're seeing this around the middle area. Now it can be that young children are having a high percentage of fat in this area as the body isn't processing all that saturated fat and hydrogenated fat longer term, they're starting to store it, particularly around the liver in the stomach, and colon. And so that then leaves a coat in within the system which stops the body's ability to utilize and absorb vitamins and minerals.
So it can lead to real long term deficiencies. And interesting that when we're not absorbing fat, to the degree that we're talking about in this section of the course, we actually lose the ability to digest grains. And that's becoming something that's culturally becoming more and more obvious as people have become clear. Free culturally, it's become very popular thing to be doing for the within most people's diets someone most people are saying that they're not actually digesting grains very well, particularly the glutinous grains, wheat particularly spelt barley of becoming difficult, but also in my practice, and they've just been that people are finding it difficult to digest the gluten free grains as well. So that's really showing up quite a bit as a result, I believe of using too much of the bad fats within people's diets from a young age really wish them as an adult.
When we become adults, the digestion has become more and more poor a thought or having more difficulty than digesting foods are a bit more challenging to the insulin levels. And so the grain free diet, the fat free diet just become popular culturally because when he didn't, that's what we're after. on a physical level, the liver is becoming more and more an app to balance that disharmony there. And so the diet becomes more restricted. But we can reverse that if we if we were to have a phase of giving our fats totally to clean the liver, using things like lecithin and small amounts of omega three, and then build in those essential fatty acids, longer term from allergies, and cold pressed oils in small amounts so that your system can rectify those long term deficiencies. But reduction in bad fat is needed to be quite strict at the beginning in order to make that transition.
And when we're when we're actually low in fat, the good fats we go for all the bad fats. And so a real test is to see how you are with you know your cravings for cheese and chocolate and chips and crisps and takeaway foods to see how you're doing on that area in order to Evaluate your level of deficiency. And the bigger the Cravens The, the more you need to rectify those deficiencies. And so it can really help long term or someone's to become vegetarian that when they increase their plant based omega three, fat reduction and animal based products naturally improves. So that can be a real bonus of increasing the MC three longer term. And it really also helps the era of addictions.
So when we're low in the good fats and we're using too much of the bad fats will become more and more addictive as the good good fats increase, we've become much less addictive because things like zinc absorb and magnesium absorb much better if essential fatty acids are high. So when we're thinking about long term reduction of the bad fast, we're seeing a really big change and how the body shape changes. How's that brain functions we use a much more about potential with our brains and fertility wise and for the next generations. There's a real difference in how people function or on an IQ level, people are tapping into much more of their potential.
