Your core strength often relates to how you interact with people in the world in an online situation. Nobody can be great at everything. Now, you may have a huge giant team behind you if you're some celebrity or superstar who can handle 29 different social media accounts. But for most people, they don't have that. If you are an individual, that consultant and trainer, author and expert, someone running a small business, it's generally a huge mistake to try to have a huge presence on Facebook and Twitter and Instagram and Snapchat and Pinterest and YouTube, you're probably going to fail. Now people try that.
But what happens is, they end up with five followers on each one of those. It's far better to figure out where are you dominant? Where are you best, what's the best medium for you? Where are you gaining traction from people and just go deep in that way? And maybe have your name and address and phone number up for the others but you're not actively trying to attract a huge following and these other social media platforms or it could be anything online. When I look at my own experiences, I have simply been on every social media outlet and YouTube and podcasting, but for me, I've been really successful on online training platforms like this one.
This is where I've gained the most traction, the most feedback, I've gotten more questions, comments, reviews and videos posted here on this platform, in a day, and sometimes in six months. on YouTube, even though I have a YouTube channel. I've got more comments, and interaction and interactivity on this platform in one day, Then I have on Instagram and Snapchat and some of the others in a year. So I don't spend time on those I spend time where I have traction where I have a following where I have connectivity and interactivity with people. That's why I spend my time here. You may want to have nothing to do with online courses.
I am completely agnostic on what's best for you, as far as the format or the website, or the social media outlet, but what I am very keen on is this idea. Pick one, do well with that build a following there before you go to the second or the third or the fourth. And if you're part of a big company and you have to be everywhere, there's other people for that your personal responsibility should still be for at least one get one really working well. Then you can focus on the others when you try to be all things All people and you try to be everywhere you end up nowhere.
