This next tip is going to be a little bit controversial. Not everyone agrees with me on this. But I do agree with this concept and that is try to have your email box empty at certain times of the day. You don't want an empty every second of the day because there's no way of doing that without checking your email constantly and that will completely destroy your productivity. By the end of the last time you check your email of the day and I hope that is no later than three or four, maybe five o'clock. It should be empty.
Simply having these old emails sitting around it, it creates anxiety at least it does with me It creates clutter in your brain and also destroys you have the sense of accomplishment that you've handled all your correspondence for the day. There may be times when someone has asked for a big major proposal and you have to file that email and you will bring it up A month from now when you're in the final stages of creating that proposal, but it shouldn't be staring at you in your main inbox. So, big big concept. The last time you look at your email the day your primary inbox should be empty
